A very ample and wonderful salon will welcome you with a marvelous coffered ceiling dating back to the 14th century, unique period furniture, sofa, ancient chairs, and ancient terracotta floors. Light pours in through four tall and ancient windows looking down over the elegant and historic Borgo dei Greci street. The beautiful original fortepiano will take you back to the past! If your dream is to stay in stunning palace full of history in the heart of Florence, that's the right place. The apartment has a wonderful and large living area, with dining table, original antique chairs, period furniture, wonderful and original antique fortepiano, ancient desk and sofa. There are two double bedrooms, a small bedroom with 2 single beds (bunk bed), a fully equipped kitchen with a small internal courtyard, ideal for outdoor snacks or drinks, 2 full bathrooms with shower and wardrobe room. The apartment can accommodate up to 6 people, and it’s ideal for families with kids, couples, or a group of friends. The apartment is located on the 1st floor (25 steps, large and comfortable) without elevator. THE SPACE: this is an historic apartment on the first floor: you enter and on your left is the smaller double bedroom, while on your left are the small bedroom with 2 single beds (bunk bed) and the first bathroom with shower. You go ahead from the corridor and are in front of the beautiful and very large living room with prestigious original ceiling from the 14th century, smart tv, sofa, piano, table and ancient chairs. Crossing the living area, on the left part you access the second large double bedroom with canopy bed. From the right part of the living area you access a corridor that leads to the kitchen, the courtyard/patio, and the second bathroom with shower. **IMPORTANT** : Please note that the apartment is in the very heart of Florence's historic center, and it might be NOISY. Curiosity & History: The flat is part of an ancient and prestigious historical palace dating back to the 14th century, once owned by the noble Barberini family. You can still see the family coat of arms on the beautiful facade of the building. PRIME LOCATION! The apartment is in the very heart of Florence Old Town, only 2 minutes walking from Piazza Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery, 1 minute walking to the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce, and 6 minutes walking from the Duomo and the Old Bridge. The Santa Maria Novella train station is 20 minutes away walking. All of the main city’s attractions are literally at your doorstep! Guest access The whole apartment is at disposal of my guests. Other things to note Check in is possible from 3pm. Check-out is within 10 am. To my guests I only ask a few things to be careful to: - No parties or events - The same day of your departure, new guests will be arriving and staying at the apartment, therefore I kindly ask you to leave the apartment neat, especially the kitchen and the bathroom, always taking Garbage out. - THIS IS A NO SMOKING APARTMENT - PLEASE respect the neighborhood by trying not to make noise after 11 pm ⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT The apartment is located in the heart of Florence, which means that some city NOISE is possible — especially in the evenings, especially in the master bedroom. 🎧 We provide free earplugs for your comfort, in case you need them, they are inside the furniture of the living room, and inside the nightstand of the master bedroom.
