Welcome to our beloved family farm cottage, nestled in the picturesque greenbelt of Montagu. Set on a working farm, this charming retreat combines authentic farm living with modern comforts, offering a unique blend of work, relaxation, and countryside charm. The space The cottage is perfectly laid out for both family living and remote work. The master bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed and a luxurious en-suite bathroom with a freestanding bath – perfect for long soaks after a day of exploring. We've added a dedicated workspace here with a desk overlooking the paddocks, ideal for those early morning work sessions. The second bedroom, which was our daughters' room, has two single beds and its own en-suite bathroom with a shower. It's also equipped with two desks, making it perfect for kids' homework or co-working spaces for digital nomads. Our living area is cozy and welcoming, with a comfortable sofa positioned perfectly in front of the 50" LG OLED TV. The TV's True Black technology delivers stunning picture quality, making movie nights truly special. For an immersive audio experience, we've installed a Polk Magnify Mini soundbar connected via optical cable to both the TV and PS5, delivering crystal-clear Dolby Atmos sound. Gaming enthusiasts will particularly appreciate this setup, combining the PS5's cutting-edge graphics with theatre-quality audio. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals at home, and the covered stoep is where most of our time is spent – there's an oversized leather sofa perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks while watching the sheep graze, plus a dining table for those perfect summer evening meals outside. You'll have access to the shared pool for those hot Montagu days, and the entire property offers various spots to work, relax, or simply enjoy the farm atmosphere. We have secure parking, and the property is fully fenced. High-speed fibre internet reaches every corner of the house, ensuring you stay connected while enjoying country living. Guest access Guests have full access to everything. Other things to note Remember, you'll be sharing the space with our beloved pets – three friendly cats (Katana, Squintin, and Billy) and our gentle Ridgeback, Bailey, who loves meeting new people. They're part of what makes our farm house a true home. Memory, our wonderful housekeeper, comes in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays to keep the house spotless and ensure your stay is comfortable. She's been with us for years and knows the house inside out.
