Llanthony Castaway, Adrift at the Dome

Be Castaway to the Llanthony Valley where comfort meets nature. Surrounded by scenic trails & wildlife, the dome offers an ideal base for walking, exploring Llanthony Priory or stargazing under the area’s Dark Sky Reserve. Fully off-grid, the dome features solar power, an ensuite bathroom and fully equipped kitchen. A wood-burning stove keeps things cozy, while your pet is welcome to join you on your adventure. With peaceful seclusion this retreat is perfect for walkers and nature lovers alike. The space Well behaved dogs allowed. Extra fee required, please add pets when booking: Please do not allow dogs on bed or furniture. Please do not leave dogs unattended in the Dome. Please keep dogs on lead at all times as wildlife & livestock always nearby. It is a shared carpark with the Hut so please do leave space for another car (it is pretty big so should be plenty of room) The Dome is a short walk further into the field with a slight incline (approx. 3 min walk). PLEASE NOTE: that the pathway is uneven (typical Welsh farmland!) please try to keep to the track and wear suitable footwear A torch will be needed for hours after dark Other things to note Please note Castaway is situated on a working farm. The track as you leave the valley road to the carpark is a hard stone track suitable for most cars except for low sports cars. Sheep will sometimes be grazing in this field. The carpark and Castaway glamping area is private - use if for the Dome and Hut. Only nature and wildlife will join you in here (unless the gate has been accidentally left open!)
