Welcome to our gîte, an officially rated as 4-star Vacation Rental . This castle-style accommodation perfectly blends historic character with modern comforts for your stay. The space Inspired by the nearby Château d'Angers, our stone-built accommodation features unique elements like a tower, exposed stone and exquisite roofing. Inside, the gîte showcases a harmonious mix of modern materials with old beams and stone, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The gîte includes: Bedroom: A comfortable bedroom with a queen bed, a TV with Netflix right in front of the bed, and the option to close off the bedroom with blinds and a thick curtain to seperate from the living space for privacy. Living Area: An open living room with a fully equipped kitchen and all the basics you need, perfect for preparing your own meals. The living room features a cozy sofa that can transform into an additional bed and a closed wood fireplace (with provided wood) for warm evenings. Veranda: A glass-enclosed veranda offering great views of the serene pond and garden—a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation. Amenities: Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, a smart heating system to set your ideal temperature, and a range of amenities including BBQ utensils and more (see our full amenities list). Step outside to explore our expansive 5,000-square-meter garden. Wander through the beautiful flower beds, walk around the pond, or feed the fish—we provide the food! If you're into fishing, we allow limited catch-and-release fishing in the pond if you bring your own gear. Cycling Enthusiasts Welcome! We are conveniently located near the famous La Loire à Vélo, a unique 900 km cycle route that is also part of the EuroVelo 6 (from the Atlantic to the Black Sea). We cater to cyclists by providing: Bike Storage: Secure indoor storage for your bicycles. Electric Bike Charging: Free charging stations for electric bikes. Maintenance Facilities: Basic bike fixing tools and a cleaning station are available if needed. Just a short walk away is the charming village of Corné, an active community with a bakery, butcher, tobacconist, hairdresser, and a small supermarket for your convenience. Additional Services: Breakfast: While breakfast isn't included in the standard rate to keep our prices affordable, we offer a delicious French breakfast upon request for €10 per person. Enjoy fresh baguettes, butter, croissants, pain au chocolat, and freshly squeezed orange juice from the local bakery. We'll quietly deliver it to your veranda to ensure a peaceful morning. Charcoal for BBQ: Available for €10 per bag. Guest access Guests have exclusive access to the gîte, including the veranda, outdoor space, patio, outdoor dining area, and the stone-built BBQ. Your private garden area is well-defined and solely for your use, ensuring complete privacy. Please note: Anyone outside the reservation is not allowed to stay at the cottage or enjoy the exteriors. The gîte is part of the same building as our home but is connected by a door that is locked at all time from both sides during your stay. While we maintain and use the rest of the garden, you're welcome to explore and enjoy the property's natural beauty. We have a friendly Cane Corso dog named Tesla. He is large and may seem imposing but is very friendly with people, just watch the wiggly tail ^^ . Accessibility: The gîte is not wheelchair accessible. Suitable for children and elderly guests; however, children must be supervised, especially near the pond and fireplace. We cannot assume responsibility for any accidents—please exercise caution. Safety Measures: Outdoor security cameras (covering exterior areas only). Smoke alarm and carbon monoxide detector inside the gîte. Fire extinguisher and first aid kit for your safety.
