Nestled in the heart of the vibrant Cotswolds market town of Moreton-in-Marsh, Moreton Cottage is an enchanting 19th-century retreat. Accommodating up to four guests across a king bedroom and a twin room, this property beautifully blends historic charm with modern luxury. Inside, original character shines through exposed beams and striking Cotswold stone features, alongside the contemporary furnishings. A delightful private garden completes this exceptional countryside haven. The space Moreton Cottage was built in 1834 as a workman’s cottage for the nearby farm and manor. It is located in the heart of Moreton-in-Marsh. As this is a traditional Cotswold cottage, there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful. Guests enter the property into the living room, which is furnished in keeping with the character of the cottage. You will find a cosy log burner in the living area as well as comfy sofas and Smart TV. Heading towards the rear of the cottage is the dining and kitchen space. The modern kitchen is fully equipped including dishwasher, gas hob, microwave and coffee machine. The kitchen leads out to the private garden, a lovely space in the summer with flowers in full bloom! The garden has a relaxed tranquil feeling, a perfect way to unwind after a long day sightseeing. On the first floor of the cottage is the twin bedroom and modern family bathroom, with overhead shower. Heading up to the top floor, you will find the spacious master bedroom, with king sized bed and windows at each end of the bedroom providing views over the garden and surrounding area. Both bedrooms have blackout blinds and come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries. Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property. Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details, when making your booking, to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee of £30 per pet. Cot & high chair available if requested for additional £15 per item or £25 for both. (Please note, no linen is supplied with the travel cot). Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the house sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests. Guests will have access to the whole property, including the private garden. Moreton Cottage is managed by Pass the Keys® Cotswolds, led by Tim and supported by Andrea and Caroline. They are based here in the Cotswolds and are able to offer local expertise before, during and after your stay! The team have many years experience in managing Airbnb listings and will ensure my property is professionally cleaned and guest ready ahead of your arrival. They also provide 24/7 guest support. Guest access Guest have full access to the garden. Other things to note There is free on street parking on all days except Tuesdays, in the square, which is market day in Moreton In Marsh. On Tuesdays parking is available at the local rail station from £4 a day.
