St Mawes is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses. Accommodation Entrance level: Open plan kitchen, living and dining room with harbour views, comfortable seating, dining table and chairs, kitchen with fully fitted units and appliances. Mezzanine: Sitting area with comfortable chairs and harbour views. Lower level: Master bedroom with 5' double bed, storage and ensuite shower room, WC and hand basin. Zip and link double bedroom which can be made up as a twin, storage. Single bedroom with 2'6" bed and storage. Family bathroom with WC and hand basin. Outside: Small patio area with table and chairs. Other things to note Useful Information Sunday change overs during the season Electricity, heating, bed linen, and towels are all included. You will need to bring your own beach towels. A security deposit of £500 will be pre-authorised on your credit / debit card. One well-behaved dog is welcome at the additional cost of £40 per week. No smoking inside the property. Facilities and Services Electric central heating system. Electric oven and hob, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Washing machine. Flat screen TV in living room, DVD player, there is a further Tv with integral DVD player on the mezzanine. Unlimited WiFi. Parking and Accessibility There is no parking at the Workshop. You can unload the car about 30m from the property and will then need to park in the main car park, 150m away. The bedrooms and WC facilities are on the ground floor down one flight of stairs from the living area.
