Vintage cabin in the Woods w/ resort & hiking

Vinyl Creek is our cozy, vintage cabin with large sunroom, fire pit, & resort access Unwind and unplug at our beloved family cabin, just 90 minutes from DC and Baltimore. Features include: ~Resort access to 3 pools, indoor sports center & spa ~Large elevated sunroom overlooking a wet/dry stream ~Well-equipped kitchen ~Gas grill on the deck ~Outdoor fire pit ~Records & board games ~WiFi & TVs ~Hike or mountain bike the 75 mile trail network yards away! ~Two local golf courses around the corner The space The cabin features a spacious open concept floor plan, three full bedrooms and two full baths (both with a tub/shower combo), as well as a washer and dryer. The dining room table easily seats eight guests, and even more with the supplied leaf installed. The sunroom offers a cozy nook with chairs and a record player where you can choose to relax to the sound of vinyl, or simply open the windows and bask in the sounds of the surrounding nature. The living room features a queen pull-out couch with a memory foam mattress. We also have a large chest of games and TV with firestick for streaming movies, TV shows, and music. The kitchen includes cooking essentials such as dishes and silverware, pots and pans, cooking and serving utensils, a Keurig and automatic drip coffee maker, a toaster, microwave and various other utensils and appliances. (Please note there is no dishwasher or garbage disposal). There is also a gas grill on the deck. Gather around the fire pit and roast marshmallows in Adirondack chairs with cupholders. Enjoy the cool shade and colors of changing leaves in the fall on this wooded lot. Indulge yourself and take advantage of all the amenities that The Woods Resort has to offer including two renowned golf courses, two outdoor pools, a heated indoor pool, a large whirlpool/hot tub, a fully equipped exercise room, a full-service spa, and a pub/restaurant. (**Please note that resort access is available for a small additional fee of $5 per person - this is The Woods Resort's fee for guest passes. Children under 5 are free**). Beyond The Woods Resort’s amenities, there is a trailhead that leads to the adjoining the 23,000 acre Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area which contains more than 75 miles of hiking/biking trails and a 205 acre fishing lake. Just down the road (about 20 minutes) is the quaint town of Berkeley Springs which is listed among the top 10 art destinations among small cities and towns, and boasts dozens of shops, restaurants, two breweries, a winery and an antique mall as well as several spas and roman baths. Other nearby destinations include, Martinsburg (about 30 minutes), Great Cacapon State Park (about 30 minutes), and Harpers Ferry (about 55 minutes). Rent kayaks and canoes in Shepherdstown, Harpers Ferry, and Great Cacapon. Guest access ~Guests have access to the entire house, except for the basement/storage area around back. ~The Woods Resort access is available for $5 per person per day. (BYO pool towels) ~The spa, two golf courses, and club house grille are open to the public. Other things to note We will get you started with the basics (a roll of paper towels, a roll of toilet paper per bathroom), but you can grab anything else you need at the local Martin’s grocery store about 20 minutes away. Also, there is a Dollar General and a little country store called Traver’s about 10 minutes away that carry the basics, as well as wine and beer. Instacart delivers here as well. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age to rent. Early check-ins and late check-outs can be accommodated at a rate of $15.00 per hour, so long as it does not conflict with another renter checking in or out.
