Casa Sandra is a stone cottage surrounded by the greenery of the Tuscan countryside, among hills, olive groves and flowers, in the ancient and characteristic village of Colognora. Here you can spend relaxing and happy hours with the whole family, enjoying the greenery of nature, the warm sun of the day and the fresh air of the evening. The house, completely surrounded by greenery, is spread over two floors with an internal spiral staircase but is also accessible from the outside from both floors. WiFi available. The space Casa Sandra is located in the countryside at an altitude of 600 meters above sea level. Casa Sandra is a stone cottage built in 1949 as a hut for large and small animals and renovated in the 1980s. The house is spread across two floors of about 60 square meters each. The ground floor has two entrances: the main one leads to the large living room with a fireplace, sofa/TV area and dining table. From the side door you can access the kitchen equipped with oven, fridge, freezer and stove. Then there is a dressing room with a shoe rack and a clothes rack and the bathroom complete with a shower and washing machine. The second floor can be accessed internally via the spiral staircase or from the outside of the upper floor. The floor has a double bedroom with a side bed and a large open area with a French sofa bed, another single bed and a study/work area. The total number of beds can therefore meet different needs. The accommodation is equipped with fans (but usually the house is quite cool) and all safety devices: fire extinguishers, gas detectors, carbon monoxide and smoke. The house is kissed by the sun for most of the day, but there are also areas where you can enjoy the shade and quiet, such as under the olive trees. Other things to note Those who stay in Casa Sandra love the countryside in general, nature, tranquility, walking and ancient villages. In the village below called Vetriano, there is a restaurant that I recommend. In Diecimo (7 km towards Lucca) you will find groceries, a butcher shop, pharmacy, gas stations, and other restaurants, as well as in Borgo a Mozzano, which can be reached in a few minutes from Diecimo. Casa Sandra has many potted flowers that need to be watered (during the summer) to keep them beautiful. For bookings longer than 3 days in the summer, I ask for the possibility to agree on how to water (by the guest if they like or by me).
