The space Can Pons Xic is a truly special large estate, a hidden gem in Catalonia, among majestic trees, meadows and forests, and a large garden cared for with love and dedication. Climb on a hill (“carena” we call it here), it is open to the south, east and northwest From October to May, the sun appears over the sea, moving quietly from east to south, offering unforgettable sunrises. In summer, the sunsets to the northeast, over the silent, clean and pure mountains of Les Guilleries. From May to mid-July. The lavender fields, full of life, color and aroma, intoxicate you and rejuvenate your soul and gait, while you walk among them, gliding like a butterfly among so much beauty. All seasons are a delight here, in a benign and friendly micro climate; no humidity, in winter, with the delicious cold that only cools your cheeks and nose, the fire of the two fireplaces, the warm rooms, and the meditation room to read, rest, contemplate, talk quietly and deepen friendships....and in summer, so many cool corners, with a permanent breeze, whatever happens outside of them. And the pool, of course, with its own little forest. Autumn,...the beauty of Montseny, the contrasts and the light, the mushrooms, the forest that stretches and offers life and sustenance. And Spring, the symphony arrives, flowers, greenery and life, the garden and the fields are dressed in gala, and everything sown, cared for, left to grow in peace, sprouts and shows itself intoxicating the senses, with joy and wonder. The Masia... although we have dressed and improved it for you, it has been our home for 4 years, and retains that taste of a house lived with love, that things are where they need to be so that everything is easier, more intimate and cozy. The kitchen, my favorite place, with its huge fireplace and two windows facing the sea. Cooking, washing dishes, whatever it is, becomes a pleasure, which you will surely miss when you leave. We love this place and take care of it with detail and dedication, and we are happy to finally be able to open it so that other people can enjoy it too.
