Silverwood Studio Countryside Getaway

Escape to the countryside at Silverwood Studio, based on a farm in the most stunning location in Kent. We have recently renovated this barn to a high standard, complete with a log burner, kitchenette and a large picture window looking over the most fantastic view. It is located in a truly beautiful setting, in the middle of the English countryside, perfect for a romantic getaway or peaceful retreat. The space Silverwood Studio is a beautifully renovated annex adjacent to our converted barn, on our farm in Pluckley. It is self-contained with its own gated access, patio and garden. It has a very comfortable king sized bed, log burner, television, dining table, small kitchen and bathroom. You'll have a stunning view of Kent from the large picture window that you can enjoy over a cup of tea or coffee in the relaxing seating area. If you are lucky you may see sheep that come right up to the window! The kitchen has a microwave oven and a one ring induction hob, as well as a kettle, toaster, coffee machine, dishwasher and fridge. It has a coal BBQ outside, and a little outdoor seating area on the patio. The dining table is a good size and so would be ideal for remote work, as we have free wifi in the building. The bathroom has a shower, sink and loo. Towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and a hair dryer are provided. The entrance door to the annex is low, and there are low hanging beams in the property so do be careful when walking around. One of the beams is overhead as you walk in, so do be careful when you enter. There is parking for up to two cars in front of the property. If arriving by train the nearest train stations are Pluckley (8 minute drive) or Ashford International (18 minute drive). If you are arriving by train I would recommend booking a taxi in advance for collection. Guest access Silverwood Studio is self-contained and has its own gated access, patio and garden. It has a lock box so that you are able to let yourself in as you please. You are welcome to park your car just in front of the studio. The fields in front of the property are privately owned and often have sheep in them so please do not enter the fields or open the gates.
