Newly renovated (2026) terrace is ideal for relaxing & enjoying the sea views. Seascape is ideal for families, small groups or watersport enthusiasts. The island is popular for sailing, kayaking, kite & wind surfing, SUP, fishing, hiking, cycling, birdwatching ….or simply enjoying the beach. The space From Seascape’s terrace you can enjoy mesmerizing sea views towards the nearby Isle of Wight, which is just 8 miles away. The advantage of *Hayling* Island is that there is no need to catch a ferry! Seascape is less than 2 hours drive from central London, straight down the A3, then there’s a bridge over the sea to Hayling Island. The house is stylish yet family friendly: Kids bunk bedroom (sleeps 4) is filled with toys and doubles up as a playroom; 3 high chairs, 2 travel cots and 1 baby bath available on request; Stair gate stops toddlers roaming the stairs. Seascape’s living spaces are on the first floor, taking advantage of the excellent panoramic sea views. All the bedrooms, plus the bathrooms, are located on the ground floor. Ground floor has 4 bedrooms in total: Bedroom 1: super king bed with en suite bathroom (can be converted to a twin room with two single beds) Bedroom 2: super king bed (can also be converted to a twin room). Bedroom 3: small room with a double bed Bedroom 4: bunk room for children with two bunk beds (sleeping 4), each bunk 80/90cm wide (max weight 100kg). Family shower room Utility room Enclosed patio garden First Floor: Open plan living/dining/sitting area with patio doors opening onto a sunny, south-facing roof terrace with panoramic sea views, outdoor dining table and outdoor seating area. Kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Enclosed garden has a gate directly onto the coastal walking promenade which is built over the expansive shingle beach. The beach in front of the property is very family friendly and is suitable for swimming/having a dip. Guest access The entire 4 bedroom property is yours. Easy parking for multiple vehicles on the drive and/or road (at the back of the property). At the front of the property, the garden gate links to the coastal promenade which is built on top of the shingle beach. Scramble straight over 2m of shingle to the sea, or walk 75m to the right for easiest sea access. The beach is about 5 miles long. Other things to note Book for 3 nights or more and the nightly rate will be automatically discounted. The shingle on the beach in front of the house is often very steep in order to protect our end of the island from flooding. In order for you to access the beach most easily, rather than scrambling up the slope right in front of the property, turn right out of the garden gate and walk 75 metres along the promenade to the steps that connect the beach to the car park. Twice a year - in the spring and autumn, there is a program of works on the beach to replenish the shingle on the beach and to prevent local properties from flooding. The work is usually on weekdays and normally lasts 2-4 weeks. This may cause disturbance to guests when they are operating machinery right in front of the property.
