Treehouse in Herefordshire
Description
You will find this idyllic and cosy retreat nestled between two 150-year-old Oak trees on our small working family farm in rural Herefordshire. Enjoy this romantic getaway and surround yourself with nature and far-reaching views from the balcony over peaceful farmland and beyond. The space The Tree House has power and heating, with a sheltered outdoor living space for cooking and relaxing beneath. Perfect for lighting a fire and settling in for the evening. Everything you need to unwind and recharge! Described as ‘magical’ and ‘truly a fairytale experience’ by our guests. There is minimal light pollution in the local area, so if the conditions are right, you’re in for a treat with our magnificent night skies. We are surrounded by an abundance of local wildlife. If you’re lucky, you may spot our resident barn owls in a neighbouring tree! Bathroom & Kitchen A short walk across the field is your own newly built private bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet. Towels are provided for your stay, and we are proud to offer phosphate and nitrate free toiletries to help protect our local rivers. Alongside this you will find a fully equipped, shared kitchenette with fridge-freezer. Our cooking facilities include a gas BBQ beneath the Tree House and gas hob for making a cuppa inside. The Farm The Tree House is situated on a working farm, so it is not unusual for you to be able to see sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, ducks and more from the balcony! Our daughter, Ellie, also runs a flower farm on site. During the spring, summer and autumn months we are able to offer gift bouquets at prior arrangement to help celebrate any special occasion. Other things to note WiFi There is no WiFi at the Tree House, but there is usually good phone signal coverage. We encourage guests to switch off from the outside world! The local area There are lots of footpaths to explore directly from the Tree House. A selection of maps are available to borrow during your stay. The historic market town of Ledbury is a 15-minute drive away, where you will find a bustling high-street and a plethora of independent shops, cafés and pubs. A little further afield is the cathedral city of Hereford, the beautiful Malvern Hills (both 25 minutes) and the Wye Valley National Landscape (half an hour). Getting here The Tree House is in a rural location 7 miles from the town of Ledbury. Public transport is very limited beyond that point. Pets Our livestock graze in neighbouring fields, which means we have a strict no pet policy.
