There are also many cute coffee shops and ice cream/shaved ice shops within less than a 5 minute walk! Parking: The parking pad is located behind the house with direct access to the back door to the house. The driveway can only fit one car and is accessible through multiple alleyways near the house. However, we recommend guests drive a small car or sub-compact SUV to ease in and out of the driveway and alleyways. The parking pad can fit larger cars if needed, but it might be a tight fit. Additional parking: We recommend guests park second cars on Fort Avenue, which is perpendicular to our street and is unrestricted with no permits required. There is free street parking in front of the house. However, parking is limited to certain hours and time limits (2:00 pm to 7:00 am). Other parking spots are available within walking distance with fewer time restrictions (such as Fort Ave), and a paid parking garage is about an 11-minute walk away. Beautiful outdoor space: Enjoy spacious views of the city and harbor from the rooftop deck where you can also see the iconic Domino Sugar Factory. The deck lights up beautifully at night via cafe string lights. The rooftop deck is easily accessible from the second floor via a secure, straight stairwell to the top (shown in photos, no shaky spiral or windy staircases here!). There is patio furniture, an umbrella, an electric outlet, and an electric grill available for use. There are four total bedrooms: two upstairs and two on the lower level. Each have their own bedroom locks. There are three total bathrooms: two upstairs and one on the lower level. There are also four possible work areas in the house. Bathrooms: The walk-in showers are spacious, both upstairs showers have rainfall dual shower heads and all bathrooms are fully stocked with quality soaps and essentials such as blow dryers and makeup towels. For our international travelers, our master bedroom has a bidet. Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a type of easement or window. All beds and pillows are memory foam, we get compliments all the time on how well guests sleep! How the bedrooms are setup and their locations: There is a master bedroom on the second floor with a large bathroom and dedicated work station with desk outlets. The hallway bath is available for guests staying in the second bedroom on the second floor. The second bedroom also has a small workstation with desk outlets. The third bedroom on the lower level features a trundle that has two separate twin beds and a small easement window (we designed the bed this way so it’s safer and has more flexible use than a bunk bed!). The trundle can also be used as a daybed or a type of couch for the TV. The fourth bedroom has a full sized bed and an easement that leads to a small window for emergency exit purposes. Each room has a USB outlet by each bed for your convenience! For those who may have difficulty with walking, we recommend using the lower level rooms as those stairs are carpeted and a shorter distance than the upstairs rooms. Clothing storage: There is also clothes storage or rack in each room, and some of the rooms have a luggage rack. EV Charger: We have a portable Level 1 EV charger and a Tesla adapter that you can plug in while your car is parked in the driveway. Living room: The living room features a large sectional couch measuring over 9 feet long, along with a large-screen smart TV where guests can access Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, and Peacock subscriptions using a Roku Device. Alternatively, guests can also access subscriptions using their own accounts as desired. There are several other apps on the Smart TV such as Prime, ESPN, etc. Full Kitchen: The kitchen features many high-end appliances such as a stainless-steel gas stove, dishwasher, and fridge with ice maker + filtered water dispenser, along with quality kitchen tools such as German-steel knives by Henckels, Belgique brand stainless steel non-toxic pots/pans, full-sized Ninja Blender + single serve blender (great for baby food), Caphalon/Circulon brand non-stick pans, mini-air fryer, Keurig, espresso machine, electric water kettle, and rice cooker/food steamer. There’s Lavazza and Peets K-Pods coffee provided for guests, along with creamer and other coffee essentials. For our iced-coffee lovers, the Keurig machine has an iced-coffee setting! Plates, bowls, cups, kids plates, and other dish-ware are available to guests (shown in photos), with cabinets labeled accordingly so it is easy to navigate around the kitchen. Dining seats: There are six seating spaces in the kitchen but four extra chairs are stored in the house: three metal foldable chairs and a wooden dining chair, which allows for seating up to 10 people in the kitchen and dining areas. Workspaces: The other two possible work areas aside from the desks in upstairs bedrooms are the dining table and the kitchen counter. Our internet is hi-speed at 1GB. Extra sleeping options: For more sleeping space, the foldable full-size bed frame and foldable memory foam mattress (4 inch) feels like a real bed can be setup in the living room, no inflatable mattresses here! Extra sheets and blankets provided for the bed. Amenities for families with children: We have board games, cards, and children’s books. The pack-and-play/travel crib is neatly stored on the lower level. The high chair is collapsible and made by the brand Nook. We also have kids plates and utensils. Guests are encouraged to bring their own preferred sheets for the pack-and-play, but a fitted sheet is provided. No shoes are allowed in the house so this helps ensure a sanitary space, safe for crawling babies and for pristine floors for everyone! **Please note, due to stairs and smart devices, this home is not suited for unaccompanied elderly guests or children. As with most Airbnbs, we do not send people to the home unless there are issues with the house such as a broken toilet or electricity issues. This is a private home equipped with a full kitchen, private parking, and a living area for guests to use privately. ** Guest access Guests have the entire house to themselves with 24/7 check-in and access to all rooms and outdoor spaces, such as the rooftop deck and private driveway. There is a storage closet in the Master Bedroom (Bedroom 1) that is locked for owner use. Other things to note This is our home, not a hotel. We ask guests to be considerate of our home, and that you treat the home as well as you would treat yours. Most of our guests are very considerate but we ask that you do not abuse components of our home, including appliances, and cause damage to them. Our cleaning team does document and report issues or missing items back to us after each cleaning and we will file a claim with Airbnb if necessary. NO SHOES are allowed to be worn in the house. This is a family-friendly home, and as such, we must keep the floors free of dirt and bacteria. House slippers are available for your use as desired. Signs of shoe wear in the house will incur a $100 deep cleaning fee surcharge. Per Airbnb policy, no parties and loud events allowed. This is a residential neighborhood and quiet hours are from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. If a large gathering, party, or noise complaint has been reported or confirmed, we reserve the right to report to Airbnb and cancel the reservation. We also reserve the right to charge any fees for additional cleaning if this rule is broken. We do not communicate outside of the Airbnb app. There is a phone call feature available to guests after a booking is confirmed if needed. It is our policy and Airbnb’s policy to not communicate outside of the app. Any requests for us to call or contact guests outside of the app (such as Whats App) PRIOR to booking will be reported to Airbnb. We understand sometimes it’s easier to communicate via email or certain apps, which we are open to after the booking is confirmed. We also typically do not permit pets unless they are service animals. Registration Details STR-0003167
