Cosy room with view of the hills in a terraced Grade II listed cottage in small slate-mining village in Snowdonia National Park. Near Cader Idris, Talyllyn Lake and the Talyllyn Narrow Guage Railway. Village is friendly, peaceful and tranquil. The space This is a unique space because the cottage is a Grade II listed building which was built in 1870 as one of a row of slate cottages built to house workers in the slate quarry located up the hill behind the cottage. It has many original features and a lovely view of the hills from the back garden. The North West Wales area has recently been awarded UNESCO World Heritage Status for its slate-related heritage. Guest access Guests have complete access to their own private bedroom. The bathroom is shared but is immediately next door to their room. I am the only other occupant of the house and my bedroom is at the at the other end of the corridor. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen / fridge / living room on request. During your stay I have good knowledge about local walks and places to visit and am happy to share information. i have a good range of local maps and guide books available. Other things to note I can advise about a number of local services and amenities which can be booked in advance on request. These include holistic health and well-being treatments and activities as well as local festivals and events. A full list can be rovided on requested.
