Rambla Retreats 3 Apts, shared pool & hot tub

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space set in the stunning surrounding of Rambla de Oria. The property is our main house, a Cortijo built over 200 years ago A separate building made up of 3 self-catering apartments and an apartment which runs along side the main house It's located high up on the side of the valley with stunning views in all directions! Below is our always green olive grove & fruit orchard The space Your 3 apartments are in a separate building set apart from the main house by an internal courtyard You apartments are: Azul - This first floor apartment has its entrance off a shared courtyard. The stairs lead to the spacious lounge/dinning/kitchen area. There is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable boulders sofa bed, wall mounted TV, ceiling fan and air conditioning. Off this room is the large bedroom with kingsize bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan and wall mounted TV. The bathroom is through a separate door giving private access from either room. There is a full size bath, large walk-in shower , toilet, bidet and sink. Naranja - accessed from a shared courtyard and up a set of external stairs. The front door opens into the lounge/dinning/kitchen area, this room has a large wall mounted TV, air conditioning, ceiling fan, comfortable sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. Off this room is the bedroom with a double bed, wall hung TV and air conditioning. The bathroom is through a separate door giving access from either main living area or the bedroom . There is a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. Verde - has a stepless entrance, off a shared courtyard (ramp available) opens into the spacious lounge/dinning/kitchen area, this room has a large wall mounted TV, ceiling fan, air conditioning, a comfortable double sofa bed and fully equipped kitchen. The large bedroom with twin beds, that can be made up into a kingsize bed, air conditioning, ceiling fan and TV. The separate bathroom has a large walk-in shower, toilet, bidet and sink. In the cooler months (not many!) all the apartments have underfloor heating installed throughout for your comfort. Guest access There are many shared areas for all guests to enjoy. These include a beautiful infinity pool with stunning views down the valley, perfect for a cool off or an energetic swim worth he help of our resistance bands. A shaded terrace with high tables & stools. Comfortable sofa & chairs with views up and down the beautiful green valley. A shared barbecue terrace area where guests can share the large gas barbecue, there is a fridge and freezer for all guest to use. 2 rooftop solariums with sun loungers and cushions. On the top rooftop terrace there is a 4 person Jacuzzi for all guests to share. We have not seen the need to have a schedule for its use as guests seem to sort this amongst themselves but we do ask that you only spend a maximum of 30 minutes in it to be fair to all. Other things to note The general area is very peaceful and offers guests not only a great location to relax and unwind. As we in the farming countryside there might on occasion be farm machinery noise and the odd barking dog. The definition of a RAMBLA is a watercourse. This means that when the rain falls on the mountains in certain places for long enough the flood waters will be carried away along the ramblas to the sea, yes this means ours does flood and run like a river occasional, (maybe once a year) A wonderful and unusual sight to see! When it's not flooded (which is most of the time) it's a wonderful place to walk along and goes on for miles. You will only get disturbed by the occasion car, tractor or barking dog. For Guests wanting to be more active we are perfectly positioned for them to enjoy mountain or road cycling and hiking. Just 1.7Km up the rambla is Bar Angelita, run by Marilin and her family, they offer a warm welcome, ice cold beers & wines and great food. The towns of Albox and Oria are only 10/15 minutes drive away and offer numerous supermarkets, restaurants, bars and cafes and much more. We are approximately 45 minutes drive to the beautiful beaches of Villaricos, Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar which offer a livelier pace of life as many seaside resorts do.
