Gîte in the heart of the Pays d'Auge - Domaine de la Fresnée

This cottage, located in the center of our cider, wine and equine property, allows you to enjoy our peaceful countryside. For horse lovers, it is possible to rent a meadow in addition to come with your horse and enjoy our facilities! It would be a great pleasure to show you around our cider cellar and our cider and wine plantations. The space Nestled in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, in a quiet green setting, our gîte, renovated in an ecological way in 2024, brings you all the comfort to make the most of your stay in our region. Guests can enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso espresso machine. The bathroom has a bathtub with a spacious shower area. There is also a washing machine (dryer), iron and ironing board. For your comfort, the bathroom is equipped with a heated towel rail. Bedrooms: the first has a large 160 cm bed and the second bedroom has 2 typical old 90 cm Norman beds. Sheets and towels are provided. A nice brick terrace has been installed on the front of the gîte and it is completed by a small grassy area. You can occasionally see deer pass through the pasture that runs along the gîte or horses (and foals) at certain times. Guest access The cottage is located in the middle of our estate, at the bottom of our garden (not overlooked by our house). Guests have access to the entire cottage, terrace and garden. We would be happy to show you around our estate and introduce you to our business but we cannot give you access to our stables, production buildings and pastures without our presence. Other things to note We can organize, during your stay, a visit to our property (orchard, vineyard, viewpoint over Caen, winery, etc.)! Our horse friends are welcome, contact us for details!
