The Artists Studio is the perfect tranquil escape, suitable for couples or two friends who want a peaceful and memorable experience. The property features a huge, bespoke Japanese garden with the four essential Japanese elements: rocks, water (a pond with its own bridge across), plants and sculptures lovingly created by the homeowner himself, Mitch Barrett. The property also comes with the added benefit of a free parking space. The space The Artists Studio has been thoughtfully designed with artistic features, yet guests still feel as if they are staying in a home away from home. The mezzanine bedroom can be accessed via a spiral staircase. Due to this, the property is not suitable for children or those who struggle with step access. The mezzanine boats a comfortable king-size bed made up with hotel quality linen, duvets and pillows. Guests will also be left fresh towels, a set of mini toiletries for their stay and a hairdryer - so you have less to pack! As you enter the property you will find the kitchen and open plan dining room and living room on the ground floor. The living area has a comfy sofa with a smart TV (guests are welcome to use their own log in details to log into the Apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime). In addition to the beautiful artwork all around the property, all created by the homeowner himself, guest will find a collection of art books and novels to read during their stay. The dining area hosts a lovely dining table with seating for four. There’s also a separate desk and chair for those who need to do a little work during their stay. We have a fully equipped kitchen with all the crockery, utensils, pots, pans and glassware you could need to host a wonderful dinner party. You’ll also find a washing machine with an integrated dryer along with an iron, ironing board and clothes drying rack so you have everything you could need for a comfortable stay. Most importantly, guests will be in awe of the huge, bespoke Japanese garden created by the homeowner. So much time, thought and love has been put into the creation of the garden this feature alone makes the property a very unique find in Brighton & Hove! There is also a bistro table with chairs and two sun loungers for guests to enjoy alfresco dining during their stay. The garden is south facing so guests will have the beautiful sun shining all day (pending the English weather)! Guests have the entire apartment to themselves for the duration of their stay. Please note: The sleeping area is a cosy mezzanine level, accessed via a narrow spiral staircase. It’s designed in a traditional Japanese-inspired style — intimate and snug, with low ceilings where standing isn’t possible. It’s perfect for those who enjoy a unique, tucked-away space, but may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility or those uncomfortable with compact areas.
