Forested Cabin w/ Vintage Vibes

Relax and enjoy the vintage feel of this forested cabin with friends and family in Trout Lake, WA. The Cabin is located on the edge of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest and within walking distance of the historic Trout Lake Hall. This location makes a prime base camp for fishing, hiking, and huckleberry picking in the summer or x-country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. The cabin has plenty of space to gather and enjoy each other's company inside and out! The space The Cabin and the space immediately surrounding it are there for your use. In front and around the side, there is a small porch, a gas BBQ, a picnic table, a seating area with a cornhole patch and a tetherball. In the summer you’ll find hammocks and a propane fire ring, while in winter we offer a wood burning fire pit. In the back, you will find a secluded deck with a table and some chairs. Inside the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare wonderful meals. This includes a Ninja coffee maker that brews coffee any way you like and a waffle maker; because who doesn't love waffles? We know it sounds amazing so you're probably asking what's the catch. The catch is that it doesn't have a dishwasher but we think it's all just part of running on Trout Lake time, that slow pace that sets in when you wander up here and step back in time. The main bedroom is on the main floor and has a queen size bed. Upstairs has angled ceilings which really increase the cozy cabin scores! There are two semi-private bedrooms upstairs and a TV lounge. One bedroom has a full-size bed that is hidden from view of the TV lounge but doesn't have a door and the other bedroom has a full-size bed and a twin bed that is closed off with a curtain. Both TVs are Roku Smart TVs and allow you to log into your favorite streaming apps. There is a game room with a poker table, darts, and an oversized Scrabble board, as well as several other board games. The Cabin houses a turn table and large record collection for your enjoyment. We live next door but leave you to enjoy the space without interruption. The garage is closed and this is the only area we might need to access during your stay but only to pop in, grab something, and pop out. If you see us we are happy to chat and answer questions but leave the level of interaction up to you. Other things to note Trout Lake is a small mountain town. In the summer we see lots of activity while winters are quieter. We have a gas station & small general store but recommend the bulk of your grocery shopping be done in a larger town before you arrive. We do have a cafe, pizza place and coffee shop. Trout Lake Hall also offer a small menu. Please keep in mind that these places often have limited hours during the winter season. If you are visiting to see music at Trout Lake Hall we are 1/2 mile from the venue. In summer it’s an easy walk, in winter please use your best judgement.
