Yutori Cottage Eumundi

A slow stay nestled right in the heart of Eumundi, but with room to breathe... Only 300m from the town centre (home of the famous Eumundi Markets), and just a short 20 minute drive to Noosa, but you would never know it! Overlooking a dam and surrounded by trees & wildlife, the peaceful sounds of nature make it the perfect place to unwind, relax & reconnect...Watch the wallabies graze in the afternoon from the outdoor bath or fire pit, or cosy up next to the indoor fireplace with a good book… The space Yutori cottage has been built using mostly recycled materials, creating a unique & cosy space for you to enjoy. With sustainability a large focus for the cottage, we have reduced the amount of single use plastics as much as possible. We also provide a compost & recycling bin to encourage you to minimise waste. Supporting the local community is also very important to us, therefore we source local products for you to use during your stay where possible. This is a small cottage with a loft style bedroom, which is accessed via steep stairs. We love this space as it creates such a cosy atmosphere… However this may not be for everyone as there isn’t enough ceiling space to stand up in the bedroom, and there is only a low railing along the edge of the loft. If you don’t feel comfortable sleeping in this space, we do also have a double sofa bed in the living room as another option. Feel free to make use of the herb garden during your stay! There is a smart TV located in the loft bedroom with access to Netflix, Stan, Binge, Disney+ etc. Perfect for those rainy nights… Not suitable for children or pets. Firewood is provided for both the outdoor fire pit and indoor fireplace for those chilly winter evenings… however please note we only provide approx 1 bag of mixed firewood/kindling, but any additional firewood you require during your stay will need to be purchased yourself - feel free to bring this along with you, or if you want to wait and see if you need any extra there is a service station approx 10 mins drive away that sells firewood & kindling. Guest access The cottage is located on the far end of our property, next to the main house. However, there is very tall hedging between the two dwellings so that you have complete privacy. You will also have your own parking space and walkway to the cottage. Other things to note The kitchen does not have an oven or microwave, but there is a gas stove and an air fryer for your all your cooking needs. Please note - due to the nature of the build, we do not have fly screens on the windows/door. However, we do provide a natural mosquito repellant spray, and natural mosquito coils for you to use if required when sitting outside. We also have a portable fan in the loft bedroom which helps to keep any mosquitoes away during the night.
