Kōtare Lodge

Our Kōtare Lodge sleeps up to 10 and is the perfect venue for hunting trips, adventure activities, family reunions and large group bookings. Spend the day hunting amongst native bush, exploring on our walk trails, or swimming in the natural waterholes. Enjoy evenings in the game’s room with a pool table and dart board. Unwind at night by the outdoor fire pit or in the hot tub with breathtaking views. The space Please note our property is a working farm and therefore may not be suitable for guests with very young children as there are a number of safety hazards ie animals, steep drop offs and open waterways. Guest access There is no cell-phone reception, so please download map prior to turning down Okau Road. Steep gravel driveway with a river ford, 4WD recommended. Other things to note Horse trekking and deer hunting are guided activities with costs to be confirmed based on requirements. Please contact the host directly to allow time to arrange paid guided activities 48 hours prior to your stay. Please note that as our property is solar and hydropower, we are unable to accommodate guests that require EV charging.
