Nestled in a quiet and bucolic setting in Châtel-St-Denis, this spacious village house is ideal for families and outdoor enthusiasts. Enjoy the surrounding nature, between forests, trails and alpine landscapes, while remaining only 20 minutes from Vevey, 30 minutes from Lausanne or Gruyères. The space The house, an old barn that has retained all its character, is located in the heart of the village of Châtel St Denis, in the immediate vicinity of many restaurants and shops. It is spread over 3 levels. Ground floor: two bedrooms, the 1st with a king size double bed (180 x 200 cm), the 2nd with two single beds (90 x 200 cm), a bathroom (bathtub, toilet) and laundry room (dryer, washing machine) as well as access to the terrace. 1st floor: open kitchen to the dining area (for 6 people), large living room, and guest toilet. The staircase located in the living room allows mid-level access to a children's play area, open to the living room. The master bedroom is on the 3rd floor, and is open to the staircase that allows access from the living room. You will find an office area, a dressing room and a bathroom (king size bed 180 x 200 cm, bathtub, shower, toilet). Bed linens and bath towels are included. Access to the house is on foot from the paid public parking (max. CHF 9.00 per day) located 100 m (1 min walk) from the accommodation. For travelers traveling by public transport, Châtel St Denis train station (35 min to Lausanne, 1:30 to Geneva) is a 10-minute walk from the house. A bus service (6-minute walk stop) will take you to Vevey or Les Paccots. For families: in addition to the nice game room that will delight little travelers, a baby bed (with mattress) and a high chair are available, as well as children's dishes. Guest access The entire property is accessible except for a storage room on the ground floor.
