Extra comfy studio apartment with unbeatable view - wake up to birds singing, drink coffee on your patio overlooking the pool, palm trees and Caribbean sea. Relax in the soaker tub, and appreciate the locally handcarved bed and furniture. Enjoy authentic Jamaican cuisine at the restaurant onsite, take the steps down to the beach on property. Note, this is a Condominium complex located at Seacastles in Mobay, a property still recovering from Beryl and general weathering of time. Not a resort. The space This unit is located at Seacastles in Rosehall, a gated-residential area of Montego Bay. 15 minutes from the airport, the complex is just past the Hilton, but before Iberostart and soon-to-come Hard Rock Cafe. There is a restaurant onsite that is open each day. The property itself is on the seaside, and is 11 acres. It includes a pool as well as some other amenities which are sometimes available. Seacastles is an older property that has an interesting history; today it is in the process of a revitalization. PLEASE NOTE: The apartment is in excellent condition. Due to the passage of hurricane Mellissa, the general property is still undergoing repair (fallen trees, stripped paint). These are oustisde of our control and so we crave your patience. Those who can ignore the stripped paint, etc will enjoy the natural beauty, green lawns, and amazing seaviews, as well as the warm people who reside on property. And guests are pleased with the mix of local and international residents and visitors which makes this gated property a safe haven for a variety of persons. We cannot guarantee the provision of utilities and internet which are outside of our control (though for the most part are reliable), or common ground maintenance, but we can assure you of a super clean space, and responsive staff to assist you when needed. Guest access Guests can access pool 24hrs a day. The entire apartment is accessible. In the common areas on property, the beach is accessible by smart key between 7:30am and 6pm. The beach key will be available in the QueenG's resturant for signing out and in daily. (There is a $68 replacement charge if it is lost). There is a restaurant on property that is accessible and open from 8am to 9:30pm everyday and does delivery to your door. Other things to note - we have no control over the maintenence of the property itself and the other blocks which are unfortunately in varying degrees of disrepair. The pool roofing for example impacts your view. The pool is normally in good order though there have been brief lapses of chlorination in the past, though not often. And birds sing around the patio prior to 7am. - there is a new cllick drain stop in the shower. Gently step on the drain to click open, and after showering, gently click on it to close the drain. Hopefully you will see the beauty in it all, as we have :-)
