Discover this carefully restored 16th-century historic house on a pedestrian street in Bedmar. Enjoy its thick walls, high ceilings, courtyards with trees and caves. Capacity for 12 people, spacious living room with fireplace, equipped kitchen and parking for 4 cars. Close to the Sierra Mágina Natural Park and the source of the Cuadros River, and a few kilometers from Úbeda, Baeza and Jaén. The space The Casa de la Tercia is a house built in the 16th century and after its restoration, it maintains all the flavor of its 5 centuries of history, with thick stone walls, beautiful rooms with original ceilings and floors, 3 patios and plenty of space for you and your family Guest access Guests have the entire house at their disposal (except storage rooms) and it has no common areas because everything is private and nothing is shared with anyone. It has three patios at different levels, which can be used, and the highest serves as parking for 4 cars, within the perimeter of the house. Other things to note The house has 6 very spacious and beautifully decorated bedrooms. The house is spread over two floors, each of which has 3 bedrooms and a bathroom. We provide soap and hand towels. We DO NOT provide bath towels. The beds are fully equipped with duvets, quilts, blankets and cotton sheets, so the guest should not worry about anything in this regard. Included in the price. We have a barbecue that works exclusively with charcoal. The charcoal must be brought by the customer. The kitchen is equipped with hot water, kitchenware, dishes, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, pans and pots. Included in the price. Pet-friendly (dogs). Each dog increases the price of the stay by €15 WINTER HEATING - The house has a fireplace in the living room and we give away the firewood (limited - a basket of about 20 kg per day). We will ensure that the house is heated when guests enter. - In addition, it has central heating powered by a diesel boiler. In case the client wishes to use this heating, the boiler has a consumption meter that is looked at and noted at the beginning of the stay and at the end. To calculate the consumption, the amount indicated by the meter at the beginning of the stay is subtracted from the one indicated at the end and we know the liters consumed during the stay. These are multiplied by €1.1 and the result is the amount of diesel consumed. The boiler is high-tech and consumes very little, so the expense is usually quite low. - To use the boiler, the customer must deposit the amount of €100 that will be claimed through the Airbnb platform's Resolution Center at the time of booking. - Once the stay is over and the amount of consumption has been calculated, the amount not consumed will be returned to the customer through the Airbnb platform's Resolution Center - If after depositing the amount of €100, the customer does not make any consumption, the full €100 will be returned. - If you need further explanation, please don't hesitate to ask us.
