Description

Nestled in the bush along the Gloucester River you are guaranteed to feel immersed within nature! There are beautiful locations all around, spend the day in Gloucester, visit Altamira or just relax. With 500m of river frontage spend your time swimming, kayaking, fishing and catching a glimpse of the platypus. Enjoy meals inside or outside, at the bar table enjoying a view while you eat! Have a bath under the Stars and relax. Enjoy a drink around the Fire. The space Our Tiny Home has been thoughtfully designed with sustainability at its core, offering guests a comfortable stay while minimising environmental impact. The property operates with a modern composting toilet system and relies on rainwater tank supply, supporting responsible water use and eco-conscious living. Clear instructions are provided to ensure ease of use and a seamless guest experience. Despite its sustainable footprint, the Tiny Home is well equipped with modern conveniences. Guests have access to a coffee machine, air fryer, stove top, and a Weber barbecue, allowing for both simple meals and relaxed outdoor dining during your stay. The property enjoys close proximity to the river, which is a highlight for many guests. To make the most of this natural setting, we recommend bringing along water shoes and a floaty to comfortably enjoy the river and surrounding environment. We believe this balance of sustainability, comfort, and connection to nature offers a unique and rewarding stay experience for our guests. Guest access The Property is pretty well sign posted all the way down to the River. A good place to see a Platypus is directly in front of the Egg Chair hanging from the Tree, or on the Bridge. With Mid week stays you’re a pretty good chance of having the Property to yourselves. Weekends I’d say 50% of the time one of us will be staying down the bottom of the Property ( hundreds of meters away through the Trees so you’ll still have your space and Privacy) Long Weekends and Holidays often we’ll be camping down the Back. So if you don’t want to see another Human for a few days, Mid Weeks are your best bet. Take a beer or wine or 3 and go for a walk out onto the Bridge late arvos, keep your eyes on the water 😉. Other things to note Telstra reception is great. Optus does not work. You can get Optus service 5 minute drive back through Bundook and up to the top of the Hill. We do not have Wifi available sorry. An outdoor Hillbilly Fire pit is provided with firewood provided in the Army Box. Registration Details Exempt
