Chez Léa - Ardennes cottage with pool table and hot tub

This peaceful place to stay with a Jacuzzi in the cellar and a games area with a pool table in the attic offers a relaxing stay for the whole family, friends or lovers ;-) The space This family cottage was once the home of my grandmother Léa, to whom we wanted to pay tribute by giving it her name. Completely renovated by me, with the help of my wife and our three daughters, this house has been transformed into a comfortable cocoon while maintaining the warm authenticity of the Ardennes houses. Nestled in the heart of the countryside, our house exudes calm and invites you to relax. With its cozy wood-burning stove (wood is graciously provided), and its cozy atmosphere, it perfectly reflects the soul of the Ardennes. We have taken care to preserve its character while adding contemporary touches for the comfort of our guests. An interior designed for your comfort and leisure: • On the 1st floor, you will find two spacious bedrooms each equipped with a king size bed and premium bedding for cozy and restful nights. • On the 2nd floor, the old attic has been transformed into a game room that will delight young and old: a pool table, video game consoles, many board games… Something to pleasantly occupy your evenings or rainy days. Outside: relaxation and nature The house opens onto a terrace with a barbecue, perfect for sharing a friendly meal outdoors. The large garden, meanwhile, is a haven of peace. Children will be able to play there safely, while the most curious will be able to take a detour through the hen house to collect fresh eggs in the morning. From the cottage, many walks are within walking distance, without the need to take the car. A house steeped in history The cellar, now equipped with a Jacuzzi for your relaxation, was used as a command post during the famous Battle of the Bulge. This historical detail adds a unique dimension to your stay, offering a true immersion in local heritage. Warm welcome and discreet presence: The house was divided in two during the renovation: my family and I live in the second part. We are available to answer any questions or advise you on local activities, while fully respecting your privacy.
