You can reach the center by tram in 15 minutes, and within 5 minutes you can walk around Skaryszewski Park. There is a promenade along the canal under the block, where you can meet numerous wild ducks and even herons. There are numerous atmospheric pubs and charming streets in Saska Kępa.
