Curated Vintage Cabin | Stunning Lakeview Deck
Description
Welcome to Camp Gratitude! Nestled in the cozy 1st tier Palisades, this 1935 cabin has lake views, parking, entertaining deck, gas fireplace, and classic charm. Original details coupled with modern rustic vintage style makes this the perfect place to retreat and relax, both in summer or winter. The space "Nestled up in the trees!" The house is located in the quiet and convenient Palisades neighborhood on the southern side of the lake. The house is approximately 1,900 square feet and encompasses three floors. The first floor is the lower entry to the house, up 2 flights of stairs from street level. It includes a mud room, storage for coats/boots/etc., a full bathroom, laundry room and a cozy TV room with TV and sectional couch. The main floor (2nd floor) includes the charming living room with fireplace, sectional couch and classic rocking chairs. It also includes a bedroom with a queen bed and full bath. The kitchen is just off the living room and is outfitted with everything you need including a Nespresso machine. The range/oven is vintage but works wonderfully! Just off the kitchen is a spacious deck with a view of the lake. Perfect for enjoying either warm or cool weather! The 3rd floor is accessed via a beautiful staircase in the living room and includes the final two bedrooms and another full bath. Each bedroom has two twin beds. One bedroom has an incredible view of the lake. We are a fully licensed short term rental with the County of San Bernardino (permit #: 372-CA20190160-SUP-R). We ensure all taxes are paid and the cabin remains up to code (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers, etc.). Both the county and local community are supportive of short term rentals. That said, our immediate neighbors appreciate the peacefulness of the neighborhood and like to honor their desire to keep the neighborhood that way. Large parties and noisy groups should consider a different listing. Guest access Keys will be provided onsite through a lock box. The cabin is located on a slope which allows for amazing panoramic views of the lake. With these amazing views, there are a good amount of stairs that you will need to climb in order to access the cabin. But trust - it's worth it! Other things to note The house is built on a hill which allows for amazing views of the lake. To get to the house, there are a good amount of stairs that you will need to climb. But trust that it is worth it! Like most mountain homes, the spaces can be narrow and the bathrooms are not particularly big. There is parking for 2 cars on the street (no garage). The house is wood paneled with most of the original windows, so we encourage cozy pajamas and fleecy sweaters in the winter! WIth all orignial hardwood floors in the main lving spaces and stairs, we encourage slippers with a rubber bottom. If any of these items will be a concern, this may not be the right home for your travels. We want all of our guests to have a truly magical experience! The Lake: Lake arrowhead itself is a private lake and usable only by owners or long term renters. It’s currently back and forth with litigation on whether or not Airbnb/short term rental guests can use the owner passes, which is why we are currently not allowing guests to use the lake or the trails (they are gated and you need a key card). The roads around the lake through the neighborhoods are public and available for lovely walks and lake views and there are many awesome trails within a few miles drive to hike and take in the scenery. NOTE: Minimum stay of 3 or 4 nights may be required around major holidays. Registration Details CESTRP-2021-02135
