Perfect for kite-boarders and windsurfers. Sandy Bay is one of the best kite and wind surfing spots in the world. Second only to Maui. We have several wonderful restaurants located within a few miles of the home. You can't find fresher seafood and sushi anywhere on the East Coast. The fishing on Cape Hatteras Island is world class. We are 5 miles from Teaches Lair and Oden's Dock. Oregon Inlet is 45 minutes north. The home is the perfect location to catch charter boats. If you aren't up for off-shore fishing. Catch one of the many in-shore charters in the Pamlico Sound. Boat rentals are also available at Oden's Dock. Cape Hatteras also offers the best fishing from the beach in the country. For less adventuresome vacationers, explore shell hunting on the beach and southern end of the island.
