The Mascaras (Masks) room on the ground floor is part of the seven guest room complex at Casa de la Cuesta Bed and Breakfast. This guest room has a king size bed (or two twin beds if you prefer), a small indoor seating area, a small private outdoor seating area and opens up to our main patio. The Mascaras room has a gas heater installed in a fireplace and a full bath with tub and shower. The space The Mascaras room is part of a seven guest room complex making up Casa de la Cuesta Bed and Breakfast. We invite you to enjoy the warmth of traditional Mexican colonial architecture, comfortable and quiet bedrooms each with access to outdoor living areas and patios, plus a uniquely personal environment created by Casa de la Cuesta's fine collection of Mexican folk art, crafts and antiques. Guest access All arriving guests are given a key to our front door and a key to their room; they can come and go as they please. Guests staying in the Mascaras room have full use of all B&B facilities. We have an honor bar stocked with various wines, beer, tequila and soft drinks. We also have many outdoor patios and terraces for relaxing. Guests can also make arrangements with the B&B owners to schedule a massage in our separate massage facility located next to our botanical garden. During your stay The owners, Heidi and Bill are always available to help you and make your stay more enjoyable. They live on premises and you can contact them by phone or email at any time, day or night. Other things to note SPECIAL EVENTS Casa de la Cuesta Bed and Breakfast is an ideal venue for weddings, private parties, cocktails, receptions, business round tables and fundraising events. We can manage all logistics and catering for your special event for up to 80 guests. And if you require, we can recommend a professional event planner. MASK MUSEUM Don't miss the Mexican Mask Museum adjacent to the Casa de la Cuesta Bed and Breakfast. The museum houses Bill's private collection of over 600 Mexican ceremonial masks and provides a look at the indigenous cultures of Mexico, their celebrations and ceremonies. SAFETY Casa de la Cuesta Bed and Breakfast is registered with the Civil Protection Agency and the Department of Health. We are one of very few B&B establishments in San Miguel de Allende that are certified in writing to comply with safety and health regulations. Our B&B is required and complies with emergency lighting in case of power failure, emergency exit signs, fire extinguishers and staircase safety markings. Our staff of five have all passed the Red Cross requirements for first aid and CPR.
