It's just a short 10-minute drive, or you can take to the water and kayak there along the river. In need of provisions? The quaint town of Marmora is just a 10-minute drive away for all your shopping needs. The space Settle into your charming riverside cottage, where well-maintained roads and plentiful parking make arrival a breeze. Inside, air conditioning and heating guarantee comfort in any season, while the balcony and hot tub offer breathtaking views of the Crowe River. Escape to our tranquil riverside, a perfect spot for fishing, kayaking, and observing the abundant wildlife. After a rewarding day on the water, you can settle into our hot tub to relax and let the experience soak into your memory. After a day on the water, you can prepare a delicious meal in the fully-equipped modern kitchen. Gather around the dining table to eat, then unwind with some entertainment on the wall-mounted TV. Later, you can gather around the fire pit and socialize into the early hours. When you're ready to rest, there are several beds and fold-down sofa beds on both floors of the cottage to choose from. When you wake up, you could make some coffee and enjoy it on the balcony, planning your day as you overlook the water. Another option is to go into town for supplies and host a BBQ. Guest access PARKING CAPACITY: The parking area accommodates 6 vehicles, with space for a 7th depending on vehicle sizes. You'll have access to 3 kayaks and 6 life jackets—two each in large, medium, and small sizes. ** Kindly note that the bedrooms and the full bathroom (which has a shower) are located on the second floor and are accessible by one flight of stairs. ** The half bathroom is located on the first floor. The downstairs living room has one sofa bed for sleeping. The remaining six beds/sofa beds are all located upstairs. Other things to note IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! General toiletry (body soap, shampoo) are NOT INCLUDED in your rental. For your convenience, we provide hand soap, dishwashing detergent, and dishwasher pods. Additionally, we offer a septic-safe cleaning solution should you wish to tidy up during your stay. DRYER/LAUNDRY: We recommend temporarily turning off the or avoiding the use of high-power appliances such as the oven or vacuum while the dryer is in use. This precaution will help prevent a circuit overload. Additional Fees and Policies We have a few additional fees to be aware of: * Pet Fee: A flat, one-time fee of $150 is charged for pets. * Extra Guest Fee: For groups larger than 10, an additional $125 per person, per night is charged. We allow a maximum of two extra guests (for a total of 12 people). Please note that we do not provide additional sleeping arrangements for these extra guests. Fireplace Use Guide: Please follow these guidelines for safe use: • To Turn On: Flip the red switch to "On." • To Turn Off: Flip the switch to "Off" when not in use. if the above does not work then please unplug both the plugs behind the fireplace and wait for 2 minutes and then plug it back in. after plugging back in wait for a minutes and then turn on the red switch and the fireplace should turn on Safety Tips: • Avoid touching the metal surfaces - they get hot. • Never leave the fireplace unattended. • Keep children, pets, and flammable items (furniture, curtains, etc.) at a safe distance. • Always keep the screen or door closed while the fireplace is on. Winter season note: During the winter season, we encourage you to dress warmly, as temperatures in cottage country can be quite cold. It’s a good idea to bring extra slippers and socks for both adults and children. To ensure your comfort; we have 4 high efficiency heat pumps and extra blankets, we also have provided additional heaters: two are located in the wardrobe of the upper level, one is in the main floor washroom, and there is an extra heater in both the master bedroom and the room with the double bed. We hope these arrangements help you stay cozy and comfortable throughout your stay. Hot Tub Rules and Guidelines Please remove the blue and white floating tablet as well as the orange sponge (please do not squeeze the sponge) before entering. Max 6 people in at one time. No glass or food in hot tub. Do not sit, stand or lie on the hot tub cover. Please put cover on hot tub and return the orange sponge and floating tablet after each use. Do not add any soaps, bubbles or oils. Do not enter if hot tub is over 104°. Anyone with heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure or any serious illness should avoid using the hot tub. Children must be supervised at all times while using the hot tub. It is recommended to only use the hot tub for 15 mins at a time, allowing yourself time to cool before re-entering. Enjoy the hot tub! If it's not heating to desired temperature and if there is any issue with the jets please let us know so we can assist. We ask that you do not use or change any other settings or features of the hot tub as it is crucial that it remains in the regular settings for the enjoyment of our next guest. We will NOT entertain questions regarding other features or settings of the hot tub
