Our large 3-bedroom, 2 reception, pet friendly home with supercomfy beds and well equipped kitchen is ideal for your coastal break. Just a skip from the beach, with a large sunny garden, patio and dining set. Sit by the cosy woodburner in winter. Explore Dungeness - the old lighthouse, railway, Jarman’s garden. Enjoy coastal walks, cycles, golf, watersports or take daytrips to kent/sussex attractions. Our home is a beautifull space for you to kick back in or explore the area’s activities. Master Bedroom with a King-size Bed, wardrobe and 2 bedside tables and lamps, console desk and chair and blinds. Bedroom 2 with a Double Bed, wardrobe, 2 bedside tables and lamps and large window with blinds. Bedroom 3 with Bunk Bed, bedside table and lamp, wardrobe, desk and chair. Large separate living room with TV (using Amazon Firestick - prime, Netflix, BBC iPlayer etc - no terrestrial tv available - you will need an amazon account) woodburning stove, 2 leather sofas, poof and workspace including desk, swivel chair and monitor. Sliding patio doors open to a private patio area perfect for yoga/exercise. Find instructions to woodburner in the blue folder. We will provide enough logs, kindling and natural firelighters to get started. Thereafter they can be purchased in the Spar at Greatstone. Please use only natural firelighters and only burn wood logs. Nothing else please. Put the twizzler on the grate. Build the kindling jenga styke around it - 4 blocks is enough. Pull out both levers fully. Light twizzler. Close door. When it starts to blaze put in smallest log. Wait for that to take hold. Then put in left lever fully (this is like the choke in an old car). Control flames with right lever. It is most efficient to have flames low and gently dancing rather than blazing (which uses fuel faster and produces no more heat) All mod cons Kitchen including dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and air fryer(recommended for small/medium roasting) , gas hob and double electric oven (recommended only for large roasts). Underfloor heating programmed. Kitchen opens to dining room with large table and benches, small extra fridge, and sliding doors to patio. Large patio with dining set for 6. Please bring in the cushions or put on the cover when not using them and overnight. Shower room - modern shower room - glass enclosure. Hot water on tap anytime. We have a septic tank system so please do not put anything other than toilet paper down the toilet. For wet wipes, sanitary products, nappies, cotton wool etc please use the bin provided. Central Heating - gas fired Combi boiler controlled by programmable thermostat - a white box usually kept on kichen worktop. This is a new combi boiler that provides hot water on tap. If you use several hot water taps at once then that will affect the stream. The boiler itself is not accessible to guests. Security - double glazed windows and doors, good fencing. External security cameras covering key box, front door, side gate entrance, back sliding doors. Fully Fenced back garden - unless your dog is a houdini they shouldnt get out : ) Guest access All downstairs except garden shed. There is no access upstairs which will remain vacant during your stay. Other things to note Outdoor furniture will be available from april - September. Fully enclosed back garden - your dog shouldnt escape unless its a Houdini! Please do not flush anything other than toilet paper down the toilet as we have a septic tank system - we are not connected to mains sewage. Put any wetwipes, sanitary products, nappies, cotton wool in the bins provided please.
