The Mouse Palace

Located in the French Basque country within an hour and a half of Biarritz, Spain and the fabulous Landes beaches, and just a stone's throw from the stunning medieval towns of Sauveterre-de-Bearn, Salies and Navarrenx in an area well known for its local attractions and summer festivals. Nestled in the tranquil gardens of the 17th Century Chateau d'Osserain-Rivareyte where from Thursday to Sunday you can enjoy a meal or drinks on the terrace. Children and dogs love the ample grounds. The space Affectionately called The Mouse Palace, the Conciergerie of the chateau is a perfectly formed small house with a footprint of 44m2. On the ground floor there is a fully refurbished kitchen including an induction hob and electric oven, washing machine, fridge and freezer, opening up to a light-filled lounge and dining room looking out onto the back garden of the chateau. On the 1st floor there are two bedrooms, both with king-sized beds, and a shared bathroom. There is a private garden with outdoor seating and barbecue facilities. The main chateau boasts an Art Gallery and a café/bar where you can enjoy coffee and cake, lunch or evening drinks with tapas. Guest access Guests access the property from the main entrance to the chateau, with a designated parking area reserved for The Mouse Palace.
