This 2 bedroom, 1 bath guest suite is centrally located between the Lake of the Ozarks and Branson, 30 minutes north of Springfield and close to several lakes including Pomme de Terre and Stockton, the Niangua river and Bennet Springs State Park known for its abundant trout fishing! Located in the heart of a Mennonite community with various animals living on site. Get a taste of farm life! Horses welcome! The space This guest house is attached to our main house. The laundry room is a shared space which is located off of the guest house fully stocked, private kitchen. The door to upstairs living space (bedrooms and bathroom) has a separate security code lock. Experience life on a homestead/farm in the heart of a Mennonite community. We love showing guests this beautiful area or directing them to fantastic, little known places. We have several animals living on the property including dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, horses, and a mule. Being located out in the country, you may also encounter turtles, armadillo, skinks, coyotes, deer, frogs and toads, rabbits, snakes, owls, birds of prey and insects of all kinds, to name a few. We have horse stables available for use for an extra charge. Hay is not included in the stable use. Must have proof of negative coggins test. Horse trails nearby. Guest access Guests can access front porch seating/dining and the outdoor fire pit. Help yourself to freshly laid chicken and duck eggs. Please do not feed the horses. Other things to note Most of our animals are free ranging with the exception of the equines.
