Wake up early with a warm cup of coffee to watch the local elk grazing in the front yard. The property features an original Ohanapecosh Forest service cabin that sleeps two. Also featured is a hot tub, BBQ, covered outdoor space, game room, fire pit, and A/C in main cabin. The space The cabins sit on a large 1 acre park like piece of land looking up towards the Upper Cowlitz River Valley. You can easily catch views of Butter Peak from the edge of the property. The main cabin has a large covered porch with a picnic table and 6 person hot tub. As you walk through the front door you enter the main living area. Enjoy a warm night with the glow of the propane fireplace cozied up on the large sectional couch watching a movie on HBO or another app with the firestick. The dining area shares a space with the living area and features a large bench style dining table with plenty of room for the whole family. The main cabin stays nice a cool during the hot summer days with the help from a large central air conditioner. The kitchen has loads of counterspace with updated appliances and is fully equipped. Enjoy preparing your meals with a full oven and gas range. There is also a microwave to reheat those delicious leftovers from the local dining spots. Coffee is provided. The second bathroom is just off the kitchen with a step in shower and washer and dryer. Attached to the kitchen is the game room where you can enjoy a game of shuffleboard, foosball, retro gaming on a preloaded mini Super Nintendo, or a good old fashion board game. This can all be done next to the crackling of a wood fire in the fireplace. There is also a flat screen tv with firestick. There is a futon that converts to a double bed sleeping up to two people. Both bedrooms have king beds, comfy sheets, and down comforters. There are blackout blinds in both bedrooms to ensure a restful nights sleep or an afternoon nap after a morning shred or a sunrise hike. The master bedroom has a large full bathroom with step in shower and Jacuzzi tub. The second bedroom has two convertible chairs that fold out to single beds to provide a couple extra places to crash. Outside, along with the hot tub and picnic table, you will find a secondary sheltered seating area with a BBQ, cornhole set and a firepit. Next to the sheltered seating area you find an original Ohanapecosh Forest Service Cabin that was relocated to the property. Inside there is a small dining area with minifridge/freezer, microwave, fold down table, and coffee pot. There is a queen bed with tv and firestick. Also located in the cabin is a cozy 3/4 bath. There is no A/C in this space. For people with EVs there is a 50amp charger available upon request. Other things to note This is a pet friendly property and are happy to host your fur babies. There is a dog bed, food and drink bowls, and a dog towel provided to use during your stay. We charge $20/night for each pet up to 3 pets max. Always keep your pets on a leash around the property and the neighborhood and cleanup after them. Also please do not allow your pets on the furniture including the beds.
