Luxury garden cottage with hot tub by Loch Ness

Set in the heart of historic gardens this 3 bedroom former gardener’s cottage has been reimagined to provide a luxury holiday haven with gorgeous views directly onto the loch and gardens. It has its own secluded private ((indicated in picture) garden complete with wood burning hot tub, fire pit, soft seating and outside dining area. A world with in a world surrounded by wonderful views and wildlife, yet only 10 minutes from the amenities of Inverness. The space Your accommodation The stylish sitting room provides the perfect place to relax and has a wood burning stove, smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime apps etc. Games and books are available in the entry hall where there is also a separate working area with a desk. The large open plan kitchen/ diner is fully equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, electric oven, hob and many additional amenities. There is an adjoining utility room with washer, dryer and extra storage. There are three super comfortable bedrooms. One king size bedroom downstairs with views on to the garden has an adjoining shower room While upstairs you will find a king size bedroom with views onto the lavender and walled garden and a twin room with two beds with views over the loch. There is also a family bathroom on this floor. All linen and bedding are high quality Egyptian cotton from Tielle Luxury as recommended by House and Garden and Country Life and all bedding is hypoallergenic. By request we can also provide a high chair and a cot All soaps and shampoos are organic and sourced from the Highland Soap Company I have supplied a comprehensive House Manual in which you will find suggestions for day trips, visitor attractions, shops, restaurants, etc as well as all emergency contact. Because of its sensitive location we can also not accept any pets and would say it is not ideally suited to small children (other than by special request). Where you’ll be The house is an ideal base to explore the Highlands, set at the top of Loch Ness and super close to the vibrant City of Inverness. Despite its remote location it is only 25 minutes from the Airport and 15 minutes from the nearest train station. A 10 minute drive will take you into the city center with all its restaurants, shops and live music venues. Local grocery shops and a farm shop (Farm Ness with children play area) are all between 5 - 10 minutes away and the starting point to cruise Loch Ness at Dochgarroch is also about 5 minutes. There are many restaurants to choose from and beautiful walks abound. the North Coast 500 is also easily accessible. Golf courses, distilleries, leisure cruises, adventure sports are all a short distance and for the more retail minded, woollen mills, tweed and cashmere shops are all over the area. Guest access As the garden is set in the middle of a much larger private historic garden you will have full access to your own fenced 500 square metre garden. (please see photo where it is marked up in red) and also direct access to a private arboretum which is where you will park your car. We kindly ask that you do not venture into the owners private garden and stay within the boundaries indicated. Other things to note Because of its sensitive location we can not accept any pets . We can accept up to one infant by request. Please note, the hot tub will be all set ready for you to light on your arrival and it will take a few hours - depending on the time of year, to get up to temperature anywhere from 90 mins to 3 hrs.
