The Smithy at The Asplands is a one bedroomed property/glamping pod, with a shower room, suitable for short stays. Located on a very quiet lane/bridle path between Oughtibridge and Worrall, and a short drive into the Peak District and Sheffield. The property does not have a kitchen. Kettle and toaster are provided, along with tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Bed linen, towels, soap and shower gel are provided. Within walking distance of 2 lovely pubs, both serving great food. The space This is one roomed property with a shower room. All ground floor. Please note there is no kitchen, but kettle, toaster, tea, coffee, milk, sugar are provided. The Smithy is part of a complex of 3 buildings, built in 1769, situated around a courtyard. The other 2 buildings are occupied by the host and the host’s family members. Lovely local walks, and the Peak District is a short drive away. There are 2 pubs in Worrall, which are within walking distance; The Blue Ball and The Shoulder of Mutton, both serving great food. Michelin star restaurant, Joro, is 5 mins drive away. Please note that the WiFi can be unreliable. The property is not fully insulated, in order to preserve the original stone floor, stone walls and original fireplace; hence the property can be chilly during the colder months. Guest access Parking space is next to the property. You are very welcome to use the patio and garden. Other things to note Please note that the WiFi can be unreliable.
