Lovely and cozy self-contained private studio with beautiful views of Cadboro Bay. 5-10 min walk to sandy beach & village amenities (grocery, pharmacy, cafes, restaurants..) 15 min walk to the University. #11 bus goes North to University (10 min) or South to downtown (25 min). This is a very safe and beautiful neighbourhood. We prefer 4 month rentals between Sept 01-Dec 31st & Jan 01-April 30th for university students with rentals beginning 1st of each month. May to August flexible monthly. The space This is a self-contained kitchenette studio on the lower level of our home. We are the owners and we live upstairs in a separate space. Our adult son and partner live in the lower space next to the studio. This is a fabulous area only minutes to a lovely sandy beach and protected bay which is great for paddle boarding. There are numerous walking/running trails through the University forest grounds and nearby Henderson Recreation Centre grounds that also has a lovely 9 hole golf-course, tennis courts, indoor pickle ball and fitness centre; all just a 10 minute walk away. And the #11 bus is 20 minutes to downtown and other local beaches and areas to explore. Guest access You will share an entrance with keyless pad and number code. The studio is completely self-contained with own bathroom and kitchenette. Laundry and entrance are shared. The outside patio with table and chairs and yard area are for you to use and share. Other things to note No sink in kitchenette; you must wash dishes in the bar sink in the bathroom. Access to the property involves about a dozen plus stairs. Parking is on the street. The home is relatively soundproof but not perfect. If people are excessively loud (hopefully not), you may hear muffled voices, and you will hear some foot steps from above, although we do our very best to "glide". Mutual respect and consideration is expected. There is some road noise from Cadboro Bay Road, but little to no traffic at night. We don't charge a cleaning fee so we would appreciate it if you do your best to leave the room tidy and relatively clean.
