Enjoy a family meal in the old farmhouse dining room, which comfortably seats 6-8. Relax by the wood stove on cozy winter days and admire the view of the river or the Victorian railing on the beautiful old stairway. The master bedroom features a queen sized bed and a secret staircase to the kitchen, while the other bedrooms offer a mix of queen, double and twin beds, with river views from two of the upstairs rooms. Outside, enjoy direct access to canoeing and swimming holes in the river. Spend your days by the 21-foot round pool on the side deck, or relax in the hammock by the river. The rustic landscape includes a small red barn, lovely maple trees, and day lilies. There's plenty of green space for wandering and a rope swing for both dreaming and play. Our farmhouse is just a 1-2 minute walk to a convenience store, liquor store, pizza place, and doughnut shop, making it a convenient and delightful escape. Take a 8 min drive to Greenhill lake, park your car and enjoy a nice walk through the forest and up a small mountain to breathtaking view of Vultures Bluff.
