Glamping in Drenthe? A very nice adventure with your family, but also romantic together! Davids Tent is furnished for 6 people. There is no lack of space: 40m² surface and standing height throughout the tent! A unique glamping adventure for a holiday in Drenthe or a weekend getaway. At our child-friendly campsite, the tent is located close to the edge of the forest with a beautiful view of the countryside. Camping Tikvah is located near the village of Hooghalen, known for the former Westerbork camp. The space David's Hut is suitable for 1-6 people. In one sleeping cabin there are 2 bunk beds and in the other sleeping cabin a double bed (140×200 cm). The front of the safari tents can be completely open. This is very pleasant in good weather. Awning: under the awning is a lounge set with a low seat so you can stay outside. Outdoor kitchen: a kitchen on wheels that is easy to move outside so that you can cook outside in good weather. David's Hut is equipped with a complete kitchen. There is a 4-burner thermally protected gas appliance and in the kitchen cabinets there is extensive tableware. There is also a fridge, coffee maker and a kettle. There is electricity and lighting in the sleeping cabins, the living area and under the awning. Duvets and pillows are provided. As an extra, it is also possible to book a sheet package for 10.00 per person. If you do not use a sheet package, your own sheets (bottom sheet, pillowcase, duvet cover) are mandatory. It is possible to rent a baby package (cot + high chair). Make sure you bring your own sheets and blankets for this. Guest access Davids Hut is located on our small-scale campsite Tikvah behind our farmhouse. It is a beautiful place in the countryside of Drenthe, between the meadows and forests. The sanitary building has toilets, showers, sinks and a washing machine. On the campsite there are many play areas for children, such as an air cushion, a water playground, table tennis, soccer goals, slides and swings. You can order rolls for every morning. The village of Hooghalen is 1.5 km from our farm. Here is an authentic bakery, a supermarket, restaurant, snack bar and gas station where you can rent bicycles. Nearby is the former World War II Camp Westerbork, very impressive and definitely worth a visit. There are many hiking trails and cycling routes nearby.
