The space Eli's House is a rental house located in Vedado, Cuba, aimed at offering a comfortable, authentic and environmentally responsible accommodation experience. The apartment has recently been tastefully and passionately remodeled to ensure the satisfaction of the most demanding guests. The spacious rooms have air conditioning and will provide you with all the peace and quiet you need after touring the capital. Our spacious kitchen has everything you need to prepare light meals (stove with oven, rice cooker, large pot, pressure cooker, frying pan, casseroles, blender, bread box, toaster, microwave). Coffee lovers like us can enjoy a truly authentic coffee shop atmosphere in the apartment, with our beautiful coffee station. In case you didn't know, our little coffee station has many benefits designed for you: you can save time and money by not having to go to a coffee shop, you can customize your drinks according to your taste and mood, and you can enjoy a relaxing and pleasant moment whenever you want. We have an electric coffee maker, Italian coffee maker, electric tea pot, coffee grinder and french press. We have mains gas and a landline. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire apartment. It is completely private. Independence and privacy are guaranteed. Please make yourself at home. Other things to note - Free tourist information. - 24-hour support. Cleaning: Every 3 days, our housekeeping staff will come by the apartment to clean, take out the trash, and replace towels, sheets, and toilet paper, as long as the guest agrees. The shampoo is only given as a courtesy upon guests' arrival, each guest must bring their personal toilet, however each bathroom has in the washbasin bath gel, which is the only thing that is filled in each cleaning and the sanitary paper, towels are replenished again and the sheets and colchas are changed. Internet: The apartment has nauta casa (wifi), the guest assumes the cost of the credit and the host provides the router, the guest has access to it as long as the internet service requests is a service that is charged separately. ☀️ User Guide for the Solar System and Backup Power: At Eli's House, your comfort and sustainability are our top priorities. We have a high-capacity renewable energy system (8 kW Felicity Solar inverter, 16 kWh battery and 4 solar panels) to ensure you enjoy a pleasant and uninterrupted stay. 1. How does the backrest work? The switch between the power grid and our solar backup system is automatic and instantaneous. If there is a power outage in the area, you won't notice the difference and won't have to flip any switches. 2. Responsible use of the air conditioning (Very Important!) The system will keep the lights, fans, refrigerator, chargers, and Wi-Fi running indefinitely. However, the air conditioners use a lot of electricity. Battery mode usage limit: If there is no electricity from the grid, the air conditioners can be used for a maximum of 3 continuous hours. Why this limit?: The batteries must retain enough power to maintain the rest of the house's services (lights, refrigeration, water, Wi-Fi) throughout the night and the next day. Impact of the weather: Solar panels recharge the batteries with sunlight; however, on cloudy days, recharging is less efficient. Making moderate use of the air conditioning prevents the system from completely depleting its energy reserve. Recommended temperature: Set the air conditioning to 23°C - 24°C and keep doors and windows tightly closed to keep the room cool. 3. Equipment Security and Monitoring ⚠️ Important Safety Rules: Do not tamper with the equipment: For safety reasons and to preserve the system settings, it is strictly prohibited to press buttons, modify cables, or tamper with the inverter and battery. Battery percentage check: The only thing you can check directly on the battery screen is the percentage of accumulated charge (%). Monitoring from the App: The technical operation of the inverter is monitored remotely through its dedicated app, ensuring that everything works properly without the need for manual adjustments. 4. Good practices during your stay Heating appliances: Heaters, hair dryers or electric kettles consume a large amount of energy in a short time; we suggest using them for a short time. Conscious saving: Turn off lights and appliances in areas you are not using. IMPORTANT: In addition to backup power, the apartment has three rechargeable fans, two light bulbs, and two rechargeable lamps. We want you to enjoy Eli's House in total tranquility and comfort!
