Casa Azabache combines a contemporary style with Mexican colonial architecture. Adobe walls, wooden ceilings, and an interior patio supported by wooden columns are part of our decor. We are located in the heart of San Cristóbal, a 5-minute walk from the central square and a few meters from the main Real de Guadalupe walkway. We have 8 rooms, a spacious and bright kitchen, a garden and a patio that invites you to relax and breathe fresh air. The space The building where Casa Azabache lies is a traditional 19th century house. It retains its original architectural style: façade topped by pretil, interior patios, corridors with portico and an eave arranged in the shape of an L, supported by wooden columns. Private rooms are developed around the porch. In Casa Azabache stand most of the adobe walls, up to 60 cm wide, as well as the wooden structures, the roofs in two waters with clay tiles, and a tapanco built with wooden beams. Casa Azabache has 6 rooms with private bathroom, 2 rooms with shared bathroom, fully equipped spacious and bright kitchen, orchard and an open patio that invites you to rest where to breathe the pure and fresh air of this wonderful city. Its creators knew how to customize the different spaces that make up this Hotel, combining in harmony a contemporary style with a Mexican colonial architecture. Guest access From the Airport (OCC Transport Service): There is a Sprinter service (“combi”) from the Airport to the OCC Bus Station in San Cristóbal de las Casas. Take around 1:20 h. upon reaching San Cristóbal de las Casas. Once at the OCC bus station - ADO, walk 5 blocks north on Insurgentes street until you reach the San Francisco church, just after you will find Francisco León street. Turn right East at Francisco Leon Street and walk 3 blocks until you find number 46. We are on the left side of the street. There is also the possibility of taking a taxi that will leave you at your doorstep. Daily prices are around 35 pesos by day and 40 pesos by night.
