A short time in Bröl

Our vacation home was carefully fitted into the 400-year-old Engadine stable section in 2015. Architect: Duri Vital. The space The 270 m² of living space are arranged on a square floor area over 12 m high on four floors. The comfortable furnishings are modern, functional, high-quality and very lovingly selected. The entrance to the house leads from the alley directly into the cloakroom. In the basement there is the boiler room (heat pump) and the laundry room with washing machine / dryer. Triptrap, baby gates and garden furniture are stored here The staircase leads to the open ground floor with the fully equipped chrome steel kitchen, comfortable dining and living area. It is comfortably furnished with sofas, music system and books and modern art. The glazed barn arches, the white plaster and the floor made of soaped stable wood define color and light in the room. The stairs lead to the gallery on the first floor. The bathroom is tastefully designed with a shower, bathtub, wall and floor in dark micro-cement, the cabinets made of stable larch and a large mirror. Through a room with two single beds you get to the enchanting balcony overlooking the ruins of the church and Steinsberg Castle. Next to it is a bedroom with a Swiss stone pine double bed and a large wardrobe. Further up the stairs you reach the closed attic. Here, the sky and the ruins of Steinsberg can be seen through various windows and glazed openings. A wooden table with stools allows for cozy game rounds or concentrated work. The cozy sofa allows for cozy cinema enjoyment thanks to the HD projector, sound system, and large selection of films. The double bed is placed on the mountain side. Practical cabinets offer storage space. The stone pine sauna with shower and toilet are built into the room in a loft-like manner. The fenced garden, "Bröl" is called an orchard in Romansh, consists of a meadow with bushes and trees, a sand bed and a flowery herb garden (700 m2). Seating and fireplace invite you to linger. Within sight, on the mountain side under the school building, a playground is publicly accessible. Since 2017, the original living part of the house has been carefully renovated. The wonderful owners live in the house and carefully maintained garden all year round. Guest access The house is a 6-minute walk from the RhB train station (Ardez). A reserved parking space is accessible in 3 minutes via the garden. It is located next to the street directly under the school building. The main entrance to the house is on the alley below the house. The house key is in the key safe. We will provide the code before arrival. The entire space is accessed via stairs. The herb garden and the meadow overgrown with trees and bushes are on the mountain side of the house and are accessible from the ground floor. Other things to note Respectful and open interaction with all neighbors is very important to us. Our garden is lovingly landscaped and is elaborately maintained. We appreciate our guests enjoying the herbs and fruits available. Pets are not allowed.
