You’ll love the fully equipped kitchen if you enjoy cooking, or you can fire up the barbecue outside. There’s plenty of space to relax with outdoor chairs, a sunbed, double canoe and stunning riverside views to soak in. The boathouse can comfortably sleep up to four people. The beautiful timber back deck is perfect for unwinding as you watch the river roll by. Lounge on the deck, grab a drink, and enjoy the sunset. As night falls, take in the peaceful surroundings under the stars. The front deck comes with barstool seating—ideal for enjoying a drink or savoring something fresh off the barbecue. Upstairs, the loft bedroom features a comfy queen-sized bed with views over the living area and out onto the water. You’ll even have your own TV up there. The second bedroom also has a queen-sized bed, TV, and direct access to the BBQ deck, with a privacy door for extra comfort. The central bathroom adds a touch of luxury to your stay, with high-end facilities and complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash to kick-start your day. In the living room, you’ll find a cozy spot to read, watch the river from the couch, or dive into some games. Other things to note The Welcome Swallow Boathouse offers a peaceful retreat, floating gently on the River Murray amidst a marina setting. While this serene space is ideal for relaxation and adventure for 2-4 Adults, it’s not appropriate and is unsafe for children due to the dangers of an unobstructed waterside location. During the summer and school holidays, you will see an increase in water activities like skiing and boating, adding to the lively atmosphere. Guests can enjoy the abundant wildlife, including swans, welcome swallows, pelicans, darters and if you are lucky enough, maybe even the native rakali in their natural habitat. From time to time our wonderful Brushtail Possums can be heard on the roof moving between the willows. The Welcome Swallow is unplugged, without internet, allowing a true escape. If staying connected is essential, Optus provides a reliable connection, while other providers, including Telstra, offer basic 4G and phone calls. Otherwise, unwind and enjoy the peace.
