This newly constructed mountain home is ready to be your family's retreat in every season. Step into the home and take in the mountain views from the living room with the wood burning fireplace, and mounted TV. The room continues to the kitchen with granite counters, a spacious island, and bar seating for four. Nearby is the dining table for eight guests, surrounded by picture windows of layered mountain views. The primary bedroom is located on the main level with a TV. The attached bath has a beautiful tiled shower and double granite vanity. On the upper level, there is a spacious king ensuite with seating, TV, and a desk. The private bath has a tiled shower and granite counter. Also upstairs are two additional bedrooms that share a hallway bath with a tiled tub/shower combination. The queen bedroom has a TV, chair, and mountain views. The kids room offers a twin over full bunk with a twin trundle underneath. The teepee encourages imaginative play for your little ones, and the futon, TV, and Nintendo arcade set can entertain your tweens and teens. Downstairs is a den with large, comfortable sofa and TV for movies. The game room is a playful adult's paradise, with pool, air hockey, and foosball tables. Settle in on the sofas or deal a hand at the barrel style pub table. The fifth bedroom is off of the den with the king bed, TV, and seating. There is a fourth full bathroom in the hall to allow guests of the den and game room access. The deck on the main level has a dining table for six and a comfortable sofa and chairs, perfect for dinner al fresca or just a great place to relax with a bottle of wine and friends. On the lower level, step out from either the den or game room to the grounds, where you'll find the BullFrog hot tub and firepit. The garage is available for guests and stores the grill to use while cooking outside. Please note that this property absolutely does not permit pets anywhere in or on the premises at any time including outdoor spaces. Bona fide service animals as prescribed by a medical professional may be permitted, and the presence of a service animal must be disclosed prior to check-in. Misrepresenting a pet as a service animal is a crime under North Carolina law. Guests who bring a pet to a no-pet home will be subject to a non-refundable $750 fee to reimburse the owner for wrongful use of their home as well as compensate for removing pet hair and dander and clean carpets and upholstery. If any pets are discovered during your tenancy including via security camera or observation of neighbors or BRMR staff, your credit card on file will be charged for the above-mentioned fee. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Firewood for the fireplace or firepit may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night. - There is one exterior doorbell security camera mounted beside the front door and one camera in the garage pointed at the garage door to monitor the driveway. - Access to this home is via all paved roads, with a paved driveway. The driveway has a moderate incline that wraps around to the parking area, so 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter (Nov-March). Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible should come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
