Description
In this romantic space, you will feel like you are dreaming. Our guests feel as if they are taking a journey into the past, where they can enjoy a unique emotional experience in a convivial and familiar environment. Living in a building so full of history, the idea was to make as many people as possible participate in the experience we live every day. We like to accompany the "traveler" along the path that winds through the historic center of Serrone. The space The ground floor of the historic building represents the access to the guest room. Before reaching the room with a double bed overlooking the valley of the Sacco river (stunning view), you pass through the dining room/living room with the fireplace and then enter the large dining room (which the guest can use). The ceilings are particularly beautiful, because they are chestnut beams that intertwine to form coffered ceilings. Continuing on, you pass through a corridor with a bookcase (the books can be consulted) and on the first door on the left you enter the guest room, furnished with restored antique furniture and equipped with an antique wall bookcase. The large walls allow you to enjoy fresh air in summer and warm air in winter. The windows are equipped with mosquito nets; in addition to the window overlooking the valley, the room has a second window that opens onto the central staircase of the ancient medieval village of Serrone. The bathroom is a short walk from the room: it is equipped with a bathtub. Silence is sovereign, because there are no roads that can be traveled by cars but only pedestrian passage. Guest access Guests can move around the entire accommodation, also taking advantage of the garden (under renovation but still accessible), where you can have breakfast under the gazebo and the Lancillotto tavern below, where you can have other meals. The car can be parked in the private garden of the house Other things to note Guests will be able to get information about the most interesting destinations to visit. Here with us you can take advantage of a long bike path (about 30 km); Mount Scalambra (1410 m above sea level) offers various trails for those who love trekking; also on Mount Scalambra is the ancient hermitage of San Michele; From an artistic and historical point of view, the cities of Anagni (the so-called city of the popes with the wonderful crypt), Paliano with the castle of the Colonna princes, Palestrina (bishop's seat and dating back to an era before the birth of Rome), Alatri (with the large polygonal walls) deserve to be visited; and how can we forget the imposing monastery of San Benedetto and Santa Scolastica in Subiaco (with the precious library of the amanuenses)... and much more. You can't forget, moreover, the visit to the cellars of the excellent Cesanese and Passerina del Frusinate wines. Registration Details IT060071C1C6ED49UZ
