Stay in a Vintage Airstream! Meet Rose

This lovely lady is both spacious and glamourous. With her red accents and rose themed decor she is sure to charm you. She has been lovingly restored and carefully curated to ensure your glamping stay with us is perfect! Ideal for a couple or a family with two children, Rose comfortably sleeps 4 and features a bright and beautiful kitchenette equipped with a fridge to keep your beverages cold, a sink with hot and cold running water, a microwave and a full washroom with a lovely little shower. The space Rose is a 1965 vintage Airstream. Part of the Vintage Vacations collection, she is a step back in time to the glory days of travel lovingly restored by Craig Dorsey. Each of our airstreams includes full bedding, bathroom, kitchenette, bbq on an outside deck and a fire pit for those memorable campfires. The Airstream is located and Shubie Campground and has access to Lake Charles and Shubie Park trails. All within minutes of downtown Halifax! As you step inside Rose, you'll be transported back in time with its retro décor, vintage vibes, and classic furnishings. The camper features a comfortable seating area that doubles as a king bed, a cute kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave and two twin beds in the middle. The space is adorned with vintage touches, throw pillows and artwork that adds a touch of personality and charm. Outside, you'll find a lovely deck with a seating area and a small propane bbq, where you can enjoy your meals, soak up the sun, or watch the stars twinkle at night. Rose also comes with a private fire pit, where you can roast marshmallows and enjoy the campfire ambiance. The vintage airstream is surrounded by a lush green lawn that offers ample space for outdoor games, yoga, or just lazing around in the sun. Your Vintage Vacation Glamping Trailers includes the following: Two Twin beds with full linens One King conversion bed with full linens (sleeps 2) Indoor seating area for 4 Hot and Cold running water Coffee Maker, Coffee, Tea, etc Fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster Plates, cutlery Water and Wine glasses Electricity and USB ports Curated collection of vintage books, games, etc. Outdoor picnic table 24 Hour access to our indoor, heated Washroom Pavilion with flush toilets and hot showers Access to our Outdoor Kitchen area with BBQ Fire pit and a lantern to light your way Don't want to cook? There are plenty of restaurants nearby who deliver! PLEASE READ: BATHROOMS: There is a small bathroom inside the airstream with a toilet, sink and small shower. The water heater and holding tank are very small as well so for longer showers, we recommend you use our washroom building - located a short distance to the camper (about a 1 minute walk). There you will find more toilets, sinks and showers. HEAT/AC: Please note there is currently no working AC in this unit. We do have fans to keep you cool. PETS: This camper does not accept pets. If you are looking for a pet friendly trailer, try Kali! CHILDREN: This camper will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 2 children. It is a luxury vintage trailer though so young children (under 5) are not recommended. If you are looking for a more ‘family friendly’ trailer, try Margaux. WHAT TO BRING?: We recommend that you bring your own toiletries, a beach towel, if you plan on heading to the lake, your own groceries and a sense of adventure! We do sell firewood and snacks at our camp store and our Vintage Vacations Campground concierges are there to help you with any questions that you might have to make sure you stay is a wonderful one! CHECK IN: Check-in is between 3 and 7 PM daily and check out is 11 AM Unlike a regular Airbnb, these Vintage trailers have several unique features in them that make them special. Everything from turning on the lights to flushing the toilet will be a new experience. For that reason, we prefer to check our guests in in-person. If you are unable to check in between 3 PM and 7 PM, please let us know in your booking request. If you require check-in after 10 PM, an additional staffing charge of $25 may apply. Guest access You will have full access to the Airstream. Other things to note If you have never been camping this is a great way to try it out and see what you think!
