The 2024 renovated and 4-star rated "Ferienwohnung Cinema Forst" has about 105 m² of living space and a 360 m² garden with barbecue, covered terrace and outdoor shower for exclusive use. A special home theater with 110-inch screen and Teufel sound system offers an extraordinary vacation in addition to its own library with over 1000 books. Underfloor heating, bathtub, walk-in shower and a starry sky in the bedroom make dreams come true. The space The Cinema apartment is housed in the former village school of Forst (Eifel), which is framed between a church and the former rectory. It has about 105 m² of living space and a 360 m² private garden with covered terrace and barbecue for exclusive use. In 2024, the interior was completely renovated and includes a bedroom (about 14 m²) with a double bed (1.8 x 2 m) and a spacious bathroom (about 9 m²) with a walk-in shower, a large corner bathtub for 2 people and a washing machine. The open-plan living concept with a fully equipped kitchen (about 15 m²) and a dining and living area (about 66 m²) offers as a special highlight a home theater with 110-inch screen, laser projector and powerful Teufel 5.1 sound system, as well as a private library with over 1000 books. The entire living area has underfloor heating and Wi-Fi. The room lighting is freely selectable in warm white as well as in RGB via remote control. The bedroom has an electric shutter. The windows of the apartment are equipped with pleated blinds as well as one of the windows in the bedroom and two of the windows in the living room with fly screens. For your safety, each room is equipped with smoke/heat detectors. A fire extinguisher, a fire blanket and a carbon monoxide detector (CO detector) complete the safety equipment in addition to battery-powered emergency lighting and a first aid kit. All wall sockets in the apartment also have increased contact protection ("child lock") on the manufacturer's side. The apartment is extra allergy-friendly and has a living room ventilation system; as well as a mobile air purifier if required. Animals and smoking are therefore not allowed in the apartment. From the apartment you can directly access the large, fenced garden with terrace, seating, sun loungers and barbecue facilities, which are available for your exclusive use. For our young guests, the garden also offers a nest swing, a small slide and a sandpit. Parking is available in the courtyard as well as the possibility to charge an electric car and store bicycles. Explore the area on foot, with the bicycles provided (one men's and one women's bike; if necessary, a bike incl. child seat) or by car. The apartment, officially registered and approved by the authorities, was also checked by the German Tourism Association (DTV) on 09/18/2024 and rated with a full 4 stars (when occupied by 2 people) based on the features and service. The apartment is designed for use by two people (1 bedroom with double bed). However, two more people can also stay overnight on the pull-out sofa bed in the living area. A baby cot is available free of charge if required. Within about half an hour, you can expect highlights such as Eltz Castle, Cochem and Pyrmont Castle, the Eifler Maare, the Geierlay suspension rope bridge, Lake Laach, Genovevaburg Castle in Mayen or the castles in Manderscheid. Koblenz with the Deutsches Eck, the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress and the lively city center can be reached via the panoramic route along the Moselle in about 45 minutes (via highway about 30 minutes) by car or train from Treis-Karden. Germany's oldest city of Trier can be reached in about 1 hour. Forst (Eifel) is located between Koblenz, Cochem, the Nürburgring and Daun in the Vordereifel. Forst has about 400 inhabitants and is the center of the so-called "Forster Kirchspiels," a former parish and judicial district. Today it belongs to the associated municipality of Kaisersesch and the district of Cochem-Zell.
