Great 2 Bedroom Home: Walk to IU/Kirkwood

A newly remodeled bathroom adds to guest comfort in this ideally- located home near IU and downtown. This is a secure duplex ranch. Your unit is a 2 bedroom 1 bath unit. In addition to the new bathroom, there is an updated kitchen, new windows and a large front deck. For more space you can also rent the attached 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit. Please note, we do not allow pets. I am an IU graduate with a son attending IU. I welcome all questions about IU/B-town to help make your stay enjoyable. The space The house is in a prime location - a short walk to IU/Sample Gates, downtown and Bryan Park. It is fully and nicely furnished including a comfortable couch and chair in the living room facing a large TV and window. The bathroom was completely remodeled in April 2025. The renovated kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There are two, spacious bedrooms - one with a king bed and one queen. The home is most comfortable for 2-4 people. The back yard includes a covered patio with furniture. You can often see deer wander through the yard. The deer are not dangerous and will not approach guests. A new large deck off the front of the house was completed in August 2024. It is the perfect spot to relax outside. This airbnb is one side of a duplex home. Both sides have independent with separate heating and cooling. There are no shared spaces other than the back yard and the front deck. Code for the Smart lock will be sent to guests in advance of arrival. Other things to note The house has undergone significant renovation in late 2024 and early 2025 including a new bathroom, the large front deck, a new furnace and new windows. We are solar powered.
