The holiday home Høgtun at Strøksnes

Enjoy the tranquility of beautiful surroundings at Strøksnes. Over 100 years old small house that is under renovation. Nice view, short distance to the river or the sea for swimming, football pitch, barbecue facilities, nice fishing opportunities, short distance to Bjørklund farm where they sell cinnamon buns, pick-your-own strawberries/raspberries. A small local shop about 3.5 km away, limited opening hours. Fine hiking areas. About 300 m to the ski slope. Driving distance to Hamarøy, Steigen and Rago National Park. The space Furnished, most of the equipment is available. Is under renovation. There is a kitchen table with 6 chairs + a high chair. There are 2 bedrooms with 1.60 beds. In the hallway there is a hook ("bedroom 3") with a 1.20 bed behind the curtain that we use for the bedroom. There is a separate bathroom and toilet. Large terrace. Gas grill and fire pit can be used outside, firewood is available in the outdoor shed. You can drive all the way up to the house. Partial parking space. There is a heat pump in the house, you can use air conditioning on hot days, and a heater in the bathroom. Travel bed for baby/child can be used but must be booked. 3 hammocks and 2 fishing rods can be used. Guest access Entire 1st floor. Other things to note If you wish to stay longer, other dates can be requested. From spring to autumn we have water from the nearby river and it can be drunk. In the winter season there is water but not drinkable. Can be used for coffee and cooking. There is a small beach and river where you can swim about 300 m away. In winter, it is not always possible to drive to the house. You can park either at the driveway on the way to the house or further up the hill. We will agree on this. Arrival via main road, not via neighboring plot.
