Lakefront Suite, the Foxbird

This lakefront suite , only 30 miles to NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, provides beautiful views of the lake and nature. This location is peaceful, quiet and private. The lake is available for boating, fishing, kayaking and sunsets. The area has quiet streets with low traffic, so very nice for walks and biking. The property has pickleball net/paddles, a tennis backboard, basketball, bikes and star gazing from the terrace. The space Just 30 miles from N. MYRTLE BEACH, this lake front suite, The Foxbird, is completely private with a private exterior entrance. The suite is the full upstairs of my home and is approximately 700 sq ft. In addition, there is a very spacious (288 sq ft) porch overlooking Lake Tabor. The Foxbird has two bedrooms, a living room (with a separate space for the small refrigerator, Keurig, microwave and dining table) and full bathroom . The backyard is large. There is a small pier with lake access for a rowboat and kayaks (available). Lake Tabor provides multiple landings to put in larger motor boats. There is also the Bait and Tackle Shop at the landing to supply you with all your needs: fishing poles, tackle, bait, snacks, drinks, etc. The lake is known for fishing....bass, brim, catfish and crappy. The lake is used for recreation too... like tubing or sunsets. Lake Tabor hosts Bass Tournaments and Speedboat Racing on occasion. It is a lovely setting and very natural with Spanish Moss. The Welcome Book provides information about our little town, Tabor City, and the surrounding areas...go grab lunch downtown, stop in Two Broke Teachers or Ooh La La for shopping then visit Daddy Joe's Yogi Bear campground Creamery for homemade ice-cream. Nothing like a small town. This lake front suite is just 30 miles from N. MYRTLE BEACH. The Grand Strand beaches (Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Murrells Inlet, Pawleys Island, Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach )have it all including Calabash, best seafood around, beautiful wide beaches, Broadway at the Beach, Barefoot Landing, Ripley's Aquarium, Dolly Parton's Pirates Voyage, Tanger Outlets, TopGolf, The Carolina Opry, The Alabama Theatre, Amusement parks...endless shopping, entertainment and restaurants. The Foxbird Suite sits between Wilmington, NC and Charleston, SC....so the possibilities for a day trip are endless. But after a day or evening at the beach.... get out of the traffic and travel back 30 minutes to your private, tranquil lakeside suite and experience the beauty of nature and peacefulness.
